I watched some of story mode and it looks way better than MK9's. I haven't watched the ending yet as Its out so soon I think I can wait...

Thx m8. Wow a bit disappointed. I was reaaaally hoping they'd give evil characters a chapter this time, especially Mileena since she didn't get one in MK9 but she was just a lackey there. In MKX she had such a big role and yet again she doesn't get one

What's even more surprising is that I REALLY wasn't expecting characters like Liu Kang, Jax, Kung Lao to not get one either. Wow....my heart just sank.

Yeah, with so many good guys I throught we would get chapters for Shinnok, Ermac, Erron Black, Mileena and Kano.

The I wasn't surprised by number of chapters, after Injustice I expected something like that.

Whoever has a twitch account, ask the guy to do Story Mode.

All these comments about how people are so "irate" are hilarious to me...and the icing on the cake was the person buying a fighting game for the adventure....so do you return the game after story mode is complete? Lol

So disappointed with story mode. I definitely thought the revenants would get a chapter as well as Ferra*Torr and Err on Black. And that ending is just all sorts of fucked up.

I have so little interest in this game now since I'm not a big online player that I'm considering not even bothering with it.

So Dark Raiden being back is interesting because the only game he hasn't made an appearance in recently was MKvsDCU.

Liu and Kitana are still revenants rule the Netherrealm? That explains those evil queen Kitana sketches.

Wow, that's such a crazy direction to take BOTH of them in. I really didn't want them to be together but I wonder what kind of personalities they have without being under Quan Chi or Shinnok's control. It's hard to tell because of her mask but Liu Kang looks like he's taking Raiden's words to heart. Maybe they won't be the typical kind of Netherrealm rulers we've seen in the past.

Where are Sindel and Kung Lao? Where was Jade? They kind of don't have a reason to keep any of those characters out if revenants can function on their own without Quan Chi. I don't know why I thought they would need him seeing as Scorpion and Noob remained undead and under Quan Chi's magic more or less and still had their own motivations.

Definitely a transitional game as far as story is concerned. I can't wait for MK11 tbh.

This. The story mode is absolute garbage; the only thing it has going for it is the fact that it looks visually appealing.
