If this is true, which it seems to be, then that is the WORST way they could have ended Story Mode, holy shit. So

One thing that I've noticed about this forum, you can't please everyone without them crapping their pants about things they don't like. Story mode is only a part of the game, don't get me wrong I love MK's lore but people don't have to be so dramatic about things.

Even if the story is shorter than MK9 and Injustice, I'm still going to play the heck out of MKX. Whether I'm the only one playing it or not.

Well, the storymode can still tourn out to be good, just like MK9. The writing was shit, but everything else was fine.


The problem is the relative shortness and the disrespect towards their own material. I am not raging about undead A-list characters, if they can spin a good story around that... the problem is that they consider, AND ALWAYS HAVE CONSIDERED lore as a backthought CONTRARY to what they have said. The comic and the game from what we have known previously all oozes from this.

Well okay, most of us inflated the importance of the story (because it was legitimately good and rich and interesting in the 3D era start) but then again, I can walk away from all this and play MK1 still.

So am I right to assume that MK 11 will;

At this point I think Fujin is guaranteed for MK11,there needs to be some new capable Protector of Earthrealm... Hopefully he teams up with Kung Lao and goes with MK Armageddon route. Would be sweet...

Hell I didn't even pre-order this one yet. Hype is down and in the Alps. I've been playing MK since i was 3 (older bro got me into it), and loved the series more than any other game. I get hard off the lore alone.
