I was really enjoying story mode.. It's fitting the atmosphere I always envisioned and imagined playing mk 1 & 2. I loved the first mk movie, the good feelings are similar to that when watching this story mode. You can definitly get high from nostolgia.

I am quite puzzled by the structure of the story thus far. It seems the Netherrealm War only lasted one chapter, but we saw things like Quan Chi and Revenant Liu Kang fighting earthrealm soldiers.

And he was black-haired in that form, too, but I suppose there is a possibility resurrection doesn't mean automatically being the same age you were when you died in this case. Or something.

Tanya and Rain not making it in despite being Mileena's right hand men is nuts to me. I just don't understand.

It goes back and forth between time frames.

But you have to remember Kung Lao was going to walk in, but he hesitated because Raiden didn't tell him so. But then Raiden told Kung Lao, "Perhaps "he who must win" refers to you" so Raiden ENCOURAGED Kung Lao fulfill the prophecy only for him to get killed by Shao Kahn. Raiden should know better than to think Shao Kahn was going to let someone like Kung Lao win his tournament and pull out something dirty from his sleeve. Raiden even admits to Liu that it was his fault. As for the rest of the gang, stupid on part of future Raiden for not making his message clearer to save the world. If it weren't for future Raiden, present Raiden wouldn't be a spastic, angry madman in the eyes of his comrades and cause Liu who had every reason to doubt Raiden to walk out on him. Hell Raiden couldn't instantly use his healing powers to save Kitana like he did with Jax on the island, you tell me was it worth it that he lost her since the Forces of Light DO need numbers to fight Shao Kahn? He even brought Liu to the Elder Gods instead of LETTING HIM STAY with the others. If he were there, Sindel wouldn't be a huge problem since the good guys have the Champion of Mortal Kombat. Liu was stupid on part to agree going with Raiden instead of staying just to see the Elder Gods being total pisspots for letting Shao Kahn invade and merge Earthrealm in violation of Mortal Kombat. Raiden is not a mass murderer I agree, but he's definitely not a competent mentor for Earthrealm. Especially when he's trying to SELL YOUR SOULS TO THE DEVIL QUAN CHI. Not very smart and noble of him.
