Didn't see the smoke tweet, so it rules him out. It's either reptile or chameleon.

A full tilt out word claim for the throne would be sweet if just in the comic or both.

Reiko, Goro, Kotal, Mileena, all vying for it would be great.

I really hope Fujin is playable

If Chameleon is associated with MKX in any form, I will dance. If he is actually in MKX I will main that fucker so hard. Hopefully one of his variations would just be that randomly takes a moveset from another character

About the Reptile-Chameleion: He said "don't let the lighting (lighting, not lightning, so he means that the colors are too bright there) trick you."

That to me means it's Reptile only that the image shows it too bright. Just asked him about that.

PS: And nope to the Kitana is Mileena theory, last time she did it, we players still saw her screen name, plus the fatality would've been something more in the lines of Mileena.

Nothing beats holding the physical comic in your hands I'll tell you what.

So thankful for that last page showing us what lies ahead. It's so odd seeing Frost out of her usual garb but in all honesty I like it. She doesn't need the Lin Kuei outfit to be Frost. Ice punch....it's super effective!

Did anyone else notice Mileena's cellphone like object in her hand? What the heck is that? Reiko looks so smug.

I think after the cage fight, the heroes will ring Sub-Zero and say "hey buddy, we just found this rebellious girl with Ice Powers fighting in a cage, do you mind taking care of her and being her mentor in that Lin Kuei stuff you're just reforming and in need of zero trouble? She has ice powers so she has to be your responsability, okay?"

I've always liked Chameleon, but just never expected to see him again after Armageddon. And even before that was released, his inclusion was highly skeptical.

Poor guy.

But with his minimal fanbase...I'd accept a cameo in the comic or story mode (highly doubt it though). Either would be more than I expected, lol. Even the mention of him made me have to do a double-take...like...wat?

True and it's a real shame because chameleon is a pretty cool character and a fun character. His story is not bad either it would be awesome to see him interact with Reptile. Just the things the'd say to each other.

That's if they bother to give Reptile a voice lol.

it's got to be reptile, look at the eyes, but the torso looks like a human torso(skin) so not sure.

and with mileena looking like shes in a new outfit, i hope she's in

Khameleon and Chameleon are both interesting characters. Though I rather Khameleon keeps the name and Chameleon should change to something else.

So many Special Forces kharakters : Jax, Sonya, Kassonya, (maybe Jacqueline Briggs), Kenshi, Cyrax, maybe Johnny Cage, Takeda, etc.

Stryker and Kabal were the only police officers of Mortal Kombat.

Anyway, still no sign of Tanya anywhere?

Because maybe Dexter Soy just wanted to give him a design he made? 'Sides, he's looks like he might live a few chapters longer than Hsu Hao.

Exactly.

After seeing Fujin in the comic, I am now getting paranoid of the fact that NetherRealm is going to order Kittelsen to do something stupid like have Raiden kill him off.

Knowing of their strong distaste for most of the 3D gen fighters, I can see it happening. I hope I am wrong. Fujin and Raiden are tied in as my favorite characters but... Come the hell on. Treat them as equals. They're like the Magneto and Xavier of MK, inseparable brothers who always seem to have each other's backs. Wind and Thunder

Ed Boon and the folks at NetherRealm Studios, don't ruin this for us and listen to the fans... confused

Reiko and Mileena being together is really cool. I love both characters. I'd be happy with those 2 having their offspring in the game. Also, I'm really hyped that Fujin and Frost were shown. Hopefully some of these characters are playable.

Yeah true, I never actually thought about it but Reiko and Mileena would be good together.

They could also be working for one goal which is to take Outworld from Kotal Kahn.

Or maybe their story is different.

I'm wondering if that Kamidogu of Order business with Raiden is "the straw that breaks the camel's back" for Fujin.

Everyone else so far seems to know what hangin' around Raiden will do for ya.
