He probably would, she's died before! Twice. However briefly. It would be odd though, to have Sonya survive MK9 while most of the other good guys died only to bring them all back and kill her off before MKX. But I'm sure if she doesn't make the initial cut she'll be high priority for DLC.
As for Reiko and Mileena, it seems like such an odd pairing. I'm very interested in seeing how they interact. Reiko always struck me as being very calm, cool and collected. Very debonair and quite reserved. Well, based on what little screentime he's actually had. Mileena on the other hand has such a....colourful....personality. They could make for a great comedy duo. Or maybe Reiko's moulding Mileena into the more calculating opportunist we knew her as in Deception.
