Alternate costumes have often been gags. Johnnys ninja mine. The blaxploitation alternates from the old 3D games. It doesn't have to make character sense -_- just get a giggle out of it and think no more.

But those alts were terrible and Johnnys ninja mime is just an extra costume. Wait we are talking about Jax and Darrius yes? Yeah nah those costumes were shit.

Erron has this one costume and it is indeed lacking.

I LOVE that alt Erron is making all of these straight guys uncomfortable. I'm totally going to use him all the time (when I'm not using Sonya), just because of that.

I wanted an unmasked Erron Black, after all his mask is not involved in any of his variations.

I think that the Ronin costume was better suited for Takeda, while Samurai was better on Kenshi.

For Shinnok I wanted a Shogun or Damyo attire, It fits better his personality.

Yes clearly it has to be "topless guys are icky" even though Torr, Kotal, Reptile, Kano, Jax, Johnny, Goro and Rain all show off some skin in one costume or another and nobody has been complaining about them. Why this is lame for Erron is that it just looks dull for an Outworld Cowboy to wear. It's like they couldn't think of anything.

I'm half and half disappointed with the number of alts on one hand Reptile having just 1 alt with Kraken Reptile on the way kinda sucks. I wanted to see those Reptile concepts make it in or at least Klassic MK2 Reptile.

On the other hand a lot of the extra alts are story related so that's nice.

Hope to see a human reptile skin.

I'd be ecstatic to have MK2 Reptile and UMK3 Ermac (where he was kinda tan) as Klassiks. That would be fine enough for me.

After all MK2 Mileena was on vita too and MK2 and UMK3 were their first playable appearances.

Everyone's alternate costumes in this game look amazing. Some should be their primaries in my opinion.

I don't use her but I like Mileena's alternate and Kung Lao's tournament alternate a lot.

Was hoping for the classic shirtless Liu Kang look but thankfully we're getting some klassic costumes soon.

Erron Black's costume isn't what I expected but it's not as bad as everyone is making it out to be haha.

I really wish NRS would put the mobile unlocked costumes up for sale as DLC for those of us who don't want to play mobile lol I don't even get that, they spent all this time, money, and effort making MKX, and most of us are buying it, but they want us to play some free, not as good mobile game to unlock costume for the real version? Id rather just pay extra money for the costumes tbh lol

Have to say,I was kinda disappointed with Black's alt. and no,it's not because he shows off skin(Rain did that and he looks badass) I guess I was expecting a costume that made him either more ninja-like or more cowboy-like. In particular,I was expecting an unmasked outfit. anyone? wouldn't it have been cool to see Black's face unmasked?
