Possible bosses.
1.Noob Saibot-because of Deception
2.Ermac/King Jerrod-because of the photos
3.Liu Kang-because Raiden burned him.
4.Raiden-Because he feels like nothings left to fight for.
5.Fujin-because he could be corrupted by Tanya or Shinnok.
6.Quan Chi-because he might kill Shinnok
7.Blaze-because he is a badass immortal boss made of only fire.
8.Onaga-because he is the freaking dragon king lol.
9.Shang Tsung-because he was the very first boss ever in Mortal Kombat.
10.Smoke-because he is a demon.

Baraka

Not much boss material, but, Kabal would be interesting, especially with his MK9 ending look.

It will be Noob Saibot, as tar-based shadow monster of the void, he lost Bi-Han which became the new Evil Sub-Zero for the game, but its wanting a new host.

It found Kintaro.

Also Ed has stated multiple times that playable bosses will appear in some way or another.

Since Old Sub-Zero probably returned without Noob on him.

It is clear as day a new sub-zero, not related to the previous two other than being from the same clan.

Since this is the bandwagon everyone is jumping on.

Anyway, wouldn't Noob make more sense as a boss with Kuai as Sub-Zero. I mean Scorpion and Sub-Zero both have history with him and both hate his ass. If Noob's the boss then Sub-Zero needs to be Kuai.

I initially said Baraka, which I'd still like to see. Quan Chi is another one perfect for the main boss.
What if it were to be a female? Sindel is my only guess! Sure she was killed, but, could be resurrected again.

I really want it to be that woman from Jade's ending. She could be ageless enough to be there from 2011 (and maybe before) to the furthermost point in time in X.

I just want her to be something instead of a forgotten thing. She gives me serious Jasmine (Angel) vibes.

I still think Shujinko is the main boss. However I do have a strange feeling that Onaga might make a straight debut in MKX given that Reptile is still alive and that Kotal Kahn may have some sort of connection (Kotal's name alluding to Quetzalcoatl, the feathered dragon god of Aztec mythology). If Onaga really is the surprise boss, I honestly wouldn't be very excited. I think he has a lot of potential, but in order to make a great villain memorable you have to build his entrance up not with one game, but two more games. I can imagine Onaga appearing in MK11, but MKX I think it's too early.

My money is on Lu Kang or Onaga!

Ooh girl plot twist!

After a few pages i skipped the rest and here are my ideas. (yeah i'm lazy sorry about that)

MKX will have a story over 25 years, so a lot can happen, and a lot of characters have potential to be the big bad. Not only that, but 25 years are a lot, so this may not be a MK4 retold, it may start by MK4 and it ends as deception. Ofcorse, the story already took many alternate rutes, so when it ends it can be completly different from MKD
Anyways....

BARAKA is one i would love to see. It is very unlikely, but if the Baraka intruduced in Deception was a real badass, and this time something can happen, that makes him even more dangerous. Yes that's a bit much, but it maybe enough to make him at least a sub-boss.

MELEENA is a fan favorite, and she is made from shao kahn and kitana, so she has the potential to become very strong over 25 years. And we never had a female boss before...

REPTILE is one of a kind, you can never know what his race is actually capable of. Again 25 years... he can obtain something to boost him to a demigod level. He would own Cassie with a spit, awesome.

REIKO had a twisting ending in MK4 witch could be happening again (Raiden kills Kotal, Reiko lurks in the shadows to take over the throne, he obtains some atrifact, and BAM you have a boss Reiko...)

These are that came to my mind as awesome possibilities, altough they are unlikely to happen. My guess would be Liu, because that would be a huge suprise to the community (the general, not the fanatics that come to the forums every day)
and in the s2 of Legacy he also turned bad, so why not.
