just be glad they are making a new game the only time you see their close ups is on the select screen, the intros and after you win does it really matter during the game how the look since most of the time their in bruises, blood and if MKX is like Mk9 have damage to their clothes

I've already mentioned (probably more than once), that I'm not a fan of Sonya nor Cassie, but don't dislike them. They are at the end of the line for me, but I will use both of them in all of their variations to try them out. That is as much I will do for their characters.

Sonya isn't konfirmed by NRS but with all these leaks and hints, pretty much konfirms her to the game.

1. Faction War picture (it's clearly not a Cassie alternate, they are similiar of course... but there are differences, one thing people didn't notice, compare Sonya's horizontal eye position on this one side by side to the MK vs DC and MK9 faces, they are the same position i also strongly suggest you to compare Cassie and Sonya both SIDE by Side they have tiny differences also Sonya wore a green beret before, ofc she's a green beret, she has a ring as well and the jacket seems to fit the comic one, and the tower one too)

2. Living tower (doing a Salute pose and the clothes seem to fit the comic one Again)

3. Comic (it's new, that looks like will be the same costume in game)

4. the catalog of Rubie's Costume Halloween 2015 (too bad it only shows a silhouette, but appears to have the description of the comic one Again)

5. Told by ED BOON "To me personally, part of the magic of introducing Cassie Cage is to see her interact with her mother, Sonya and father, Johnny Cage. I think it would be, story-wise, a lost opportunity if we didn't show that. So we haven't announced the characters, but because Cassie Cage is in, it doesn't mean that her parents are not in the game."

Also "Boon assured that the inclusion of characters like Cassie Cage in no way means her parents Johnny and Sonya won't be playable..."

She is not confirmed, I still believe she will be the classic DLC maybe along with Johhny or someone like Baraka / Shang Tsung.

Sonya is not confirmed and she won't be! It wasn't her on the challenge tower and it isn't her in the faction picture it's just desperate fans clutching at straws! As for the theory of her having a new costume in the comic so that means she is in..... Well if you believe that crack pot theory then you should believe that the character reveals are going in order of original game appearances MK1, MK2 and so on meaning that Sonya should have already been revealed by now but wait she hasn't!

We have cassie now eliminating the need for Sonya and cage to return two birds with one stone. Goodbye and good riddance I say to both of them

They look pretty similar to me, so I'm not gonna jump on the "It's Sonya!"

HOWEVER, I would like to point out that if it is INDEED just Cassie, why would they just have her in her alternate costume for the faction image? Why not just keep it her main costume? That kinda leads me to the "It's Sonya" path.

What about Sonya being in the tower. You clearly see a woman saluting and who Else could that be except Sonya. That is her iconic pose.

And her costume being black in the magazine. This all leads me to the " Sonya is in " path

Not to mention that On the Tower you don't get the alternate look and a different pose, Sonya was seen in the tower doing a Salute pose,
Where Mileena (appears to be her) and Goro are, also there's Cassie in the same tower, no way the tower would have Cassie against you twice, or have Cassie in the primary and alternate costume, with a different pose
