Where's that?

I wish it was still 12:30 here; weekend hasn't been so good & only in the last 4 hours have I had any peace. If it was still 12:30 I could stay up for another couple of hours and watch a movie & finish the cider I bought to reward myself for doing some work I was supposed to be doing but wasn't able to focus on thanks to noisy neighbours, a pub across the road and a sports bar behind my place. lol

East coast of the U.S, and damn a pub across the street and a sports bar behind where you live? No wonder you're awake still, it must get pretty damn noisy around there, especially on weekends lol

Gotta admit it would be nice to be able to walk across the street to have a fewdrinks then turn around and go get some wings or something from the sports bar

Cool; you're the 5th person I know who lives in that general area.

I'm in the UK; a village called Lees which is in the town of Oldham (which itself is part of the Greater Manchester area, in the North-west of England), used to live in a rough (kind of ghetto) area near Manchester and it was quieter there than it is here!

Having the pub across the road can be great but the sports bar is mainly used as the base for some football/soccer team and hiring of events like birthdays and stuff, doesn't even sell food and there are guys who deal drugs there so that doesn't help.

The pub does good food though, and those two places aren't the only ones around; there's more than half a dozen pubs/bars, 3 wine-bars & more than a dozen takeout places.
