Well, my decision got made for me. Regular 60 dollar version, here I come. Don't care about shitty guest characters and will buy the 2 MK guys separate as well as any extra characters they may release afterwards.

We'll I'm getting the Kollectors Edition by Course so I don't really care. Unfortunate that there will be two guest characters, hopefully that is not the case.

Well that's unappealing. I need to know who all four characters are first and if those 15 skins will be for a bunch of character or like Injustice where they all kind of got dumped on Supes and Bats.

I personally can't wait to see who the guests are but I can understand why some don't like them.
I wish it was more straight forward with what the UK is getting.
I've had to order the KE from Amazon and as GAME apparently has Goro exclusively I ordered it from there too. BUT then the picture of the contents of the KE for PS4 on Amazon has the Goro token in it but not on the XB1 version which I'll be getting. All this plus it seems the Kombat Pass doesn't come with any UK version apart from the digital version, so will have to buy it separately. Come on retailers, pull your socks up!

I'll probably get the season pass because I'm sure I'll want to try even the guest characters, but it's a real bummer there are two guests out of four.

I love how everyone is shitting on the DLC when none of you fuckers can name ONE SINGLE piece of its content. If you are truly turned off by guest characters then speak with your wallet and stop bitching. People act like entitled babies.

mk is the only game i go all out on, last time i bought the fight stick one. the collectors editions are pretty crappy in general this time around. for me personally anyway. if 12 variations and 15 skins are 30 bucks then i guess it is what it is lol. i'll buy it because its mk, its my hypocrite moment and i dont mind guest characters. more than 1 for dlc is kinda weird though, like its WB advertising.

Is it reasonable to expect all the DLC characters will be available individually? Not being a doubter, I just never pay attention to how this stuff works. And I didn't buy many of them or MK9 or any for Injustice.

I emailed amazon about that, according to them it does come with the Kombat Pack.

I've emailed them back asking for clarification of "Is it right that a customer from the UK and EU will definitely receive both Goro, and the Kombat Pack when ordering the Mortal Kombat X Europe Kollector's Edition from amazon.co.uk"; will let you know what they say when I hear back from them.

I don't think its a bad deal. How much do DLC characters usually cost individually? Like 5$? So 4 X 5 = 20$ + 15 skins. If we assume each skin individually costs a dollar, then that would be 35$ if all purchased individually, so if my prices are right, the Kombat pack isn't a bad deal, IMO.

On a more related note, 30 bucks extra (20 on steam) gets me 5 characters, that's with the Goro inclusion. So that's 3 more MK characters and two guests. One of which isn't going to be Sweet Tooth because NRS has already stated that they aren't doing console exclusive guests, so please shut the fuck up about that.

And we're also getting 15 skins, so that's 5 different themes and 3 skins per theme.

Mathematically I don't see what people are so pissy over. You get 4 characters + Goro who, if they were sold seperately would be 5 dollars each. And even if you don't want the two guest characters, you would be paying 15 dollars (at least) by piece meal and then basically a dollar (at least) per skin or however much an individual themed pack would cost you.

Whatever seems like an alright deal to me, and I get to save 10 bucks because I get on Steam with a discount.

Oh yeah the people who are picking and choosing might get a better deal if they don't want everything, but if you are going to buy all of it either way the Kombat pack is probably a better deal.

Which is why I'd really like to know right of the bat who I'm getting. If it's four characters that I'd pay for anyway, I'll totally do the kombat pack. If It's not, I'll know to do them al a carte...

IF I had to guess, I think it might be somebody from the original trilogy, most likely a parent character, or at the very best somebody from MK4 like Tanya, Reiko, or Fujin.
