The variations can't change that much of the costume that making them separate characters would be practical.
Also, Sareena is the only one of the three with a story and that story is how she's NOT partners with the other two anymore after Mythologies. So...what, when you beat Arcade Mode, you get Sareena's ending even though you picked the Kia or Jataaka variation? At the beginning of every fight your character says Sareena's dialogue in Sareena's voice to the other characters and they CALL her Sareena, even though you picked the Kia or Jataaka variation? See how that doesn't work?

I would love to see Sareena in the game. A lot of fans have been requesting her for so long now. Her appearence is well over due in my opinion. Her backstory has so much potential and with the Netherrealm and Brotherhood of Shadow going to feature more prominently judging from the endind of the previous game, I think she could provide another story arc.

A cameo would be acceptable since there's no way the Netherealm will be excluded. ...

If they FINALLY use her freaking demon form i'm all for it.

Bi-Han was the SubZero of MKmythologies. So NoobSaibot is who she should be involved with in the story.

Well she liked him because she thought he was a good guy who hated Quan Chi and could help her escape.

Noob's actually a murderous jerk who now willingly sides with Quan though, whereas Kuai IS a good guy, at least, when he's not a mind-controlled zombie.

And also on the original timeline despite the one she knew from Mythologies was Bi-Han, it wasn't a problem for Kuai Liang and Sareena to quickly build a connection and help each other. Kuai gave her a home and refuge with his clan and she saved him when Bi-Han and his reprogrammed best friend tried to murder him (technically, she actually picked Kuai over Bi-Han there).

If they built that so fast it's because they can feel some connection so that can happen again under new circunstances if Sareena finds Kuai in this timeline.

Nah, Sareena's NPC material imo.

Leave her as that, I say. No need to waste limited roster real estate on Subby's squeeze.

She would be a great addition.

Since Comicon is coming up next month, maybe we might get Kia and Jataaka. We could also see Tremor, but, won't be putting money on him tho.

Sareena was one of the few cool things about MK Mythologies, and I liked her alot in MKA. I prefer her MKTE main/MKA alt outfit though.



I would like for her to have her kamas back, as she had in MK Mythologies, instead of just a big knife. I know Nitara kinda took over the kamas in MKDA, but if Nitara returns, I don't want her to have any weapons, so Sareena could easily get her kamas back.

She's a cool character, the original female demon, and my favourite of all the Netherrealm dwellers. If I had to choose between Sareena and Ashrah, Sareena would be the one I'd choose. But why choose at all? Both of them could return. We had 5 Lin Kuei characters in MK9 (Bi-Han, Kuai Liang, Smoke, Sektor and Cyrax), so what's wrong with two female demons in the same game?

No, Sareena should definately return... as long she doesn't take a spot from Reiko or Tanya. ;P

I dunno, I like the original costume with the vest held together by a row of hooked bones, and the thigh-high boots better.

The giant pink Shinnok Logo boots on that one always looked pretty silly to me and the top is too simplified/bland.

It's not a bad outfit, I just prefer the other one.

You all talk her up pretty well and make her seem like a really compelling character but, well first of all that’s just you all not seeing a pipe as just a pipe. Second I get the feeling she isn’t very important to the MK team so I doubt we’ll hear from her again. I’m sure she was a character they were happy to do away with during Armageddon.

I want Sareena in this game more than anyone else (yes, even the bae), but I'm just concerned on how they'll pull that off. The only time they've managed her combat, she was just a knife throwing character. They're gonna have to pull some demon stuff off with her.



Very much agree. I hope they give her an entirely new costume concept. I've always liked her original costume best and I hope it returns as a costume, but she needs a complete revamp in costume.

Yes please! Sareena is probably my favourite female character in MK, and I would love to have her there. And though I know most people want her to relate to Kuai Liang (which is very likely to happen), I would rather her to have a story with Bi-han, although I doubt it would happen in this game, or in the way I want it to happen.

Either way, this is the best moment to bring her back, and given she is quite popular, I don't see a reason as to why she shouldn't be in MKX Edit: Oh, and I rather her MKTE/MKA alt costume.

I'd pick that over the alt costume
