Don't always believe 'sources' on twitter. Remember the guy with a reliable 'source' that said Reiko was in the game with a giant battle axe one minute and the next Shao Kahns hammer? Where's he now?

But on the off chance it's true I'll be excited. Especially if they give Tanya and all the new characters more outfits. And of course, I'd love to see Li Mei, Fujin and Rain made playable. We'll see at E3...

People complaining about DLC as "half a game"

Serious? If there was no DLC, MKX is still one hell of a game!
DLC is what Netherrealm is giving back to the fans to boost the game, thank their support, and prolong the shelf life of the game.
Komplete Editions don't come out until about a year after the game has been out.. as if people could wait that long.

Well, they're certainly showing *something* at E3. They wouldn't have bought the space for a presentation if they have nothing major to announce.

I agree. If NRS had released the game as it was on day 1 with no DLC at all it still would not feel incomplete, its very much a complete game out of the box.

And who bought a spot for E3? NRS? Or just WB?

I really don't wanna beat a dead horse, but I'm on the team of, "Dlc is a scam by numerous game companies to milk gamers for material that should have been in the game in the first place." Storywise the game does feel incomplete imo. Not to mention kharacters that should have been on the initial roster.

With that said, if they kome out with a story pack. I will be a sucker and buy it. -_-

I'm interested in seeing if this is true. I'll be pretty happy if it is, but i'll believe it when I see it.

Despite the fact that we are not done with this season, E3 would be the best place to announce this and this is WB we are dealing with.

All I know is that a second KP will have a must better lineup of fighters than the first.

I have a friend on Twitter that can beat up your friend and make him talk!!!

My prediction for Season Pass #2 This would make the game $120 total

4 Kharacters, 4 Arenas & 12 Costumes

Want

Havik, Rieko, Revenant Shao Kahn, Bo Rai Cho, Li Mei, Sareena & Fujin

Get (Still vey Happy)

Fujin, Baraka, Sindel, Rain

Arena's

Hell, Dead Pool, Pit II (w/Pit Bottom) Subway

Ed did say that Rain wouldn't be DLC 2 games in a row

so based off of Story Mode

Fujin, Li Mei, Sareena, Smoke

Free on Disc DLC

Baraka, Rain & Sindel

What if what they show at E3 is just Injustice 2? I don't want to get too excited about this, though I'd be pleasantly happy for a Kombat Pack with more characters and costumes.

Nah, still too early for that. NRS has a track-record of only showing off their next game the summer before its release. They did so with MK9, Injustice and MKX. They'll most definitely follow suit with whatever game is next on their slate (probably Injustice 2).

Earliest we'll see Injustice 2 is most likely E3 2016 and then a release Spring 2017.

Not convinced that adding more and patchworking on a story that plays out well enough, but falls apart at the slightest of observations would actually do that much to elevate it from being a bad idiot plot.

On the other hand, anything extra that prolongs the game is good.

Either they rework the entire MKverse, hire a writer or stop pretending that the story is anything more than excuse to fight.

Boon's certainly been hinting at season 2. Really hope we get that news at E3. Anyone with sources hear who might be in the season 2 DLC?

Right now I'm hoping for Fujin, Reiko, Sareena and Kabal.

As for the idea of story DLC, I dunno. Seems kinda shitty to force people that want the complete story campaign to shell out more money after paying $60.

My guess is that this doesn't happen, though I guess it wouldn't shock me if it did.

Really hoping for DLC arenas (new or classic).

I'd like to see The Wasteland from MK2, House of Pekara from MKDA and two new arenas.

I would be totally fine with a 20-30$ upgrade pack with more characters, a new skin for everyone and a few levels. People make fun of Street Fighter for this but it doesn't bother me. It help the game's longevity and it brings a pack of fresh air that brings you back to the game for a while.

Komplete Editions don't come out until about a year after the game has been out.. as if people could wait that long.

It's "half a game" if they add stuff that was in development the same time as the main game. That would obviously mean they could've put it on disc to begin with. If the new stuff was developed much later, I have no problem with it.

Secondly, NRS isn't "giving" anything back to fans. The alleged KP2 and/or extra story DLC won't be free. NRS is providing a product....for a price. They're not some benevolent company who want to reward their fans, they're a big corporation who want more money from their customers.

Finally, "people" will wait that long for a Komplete Edition. I'm one of them. I always wait for these type of editions or a price drop. I'm not paying over $100 (with DLC included) for a video game, especially not when it'll be cheaper down the road anyway. I'll still get to enjoy the game as much as everyone else but at a fraction of the cost.

Gamespot and IGN have a list of games appearing at E3. Checked it out yesterday and if memory serves, a Lego game and Batman are the only listed WB games thus far.

The characters i'm hoping for are Havik, Reiko, Fujin, and Sareena. Although I'm guessing we'll be getting Rain, Baraka, Fujin, and a possible 3rd guest character.

The stages I really want are The Pit three, The Portal, and The Kombat Tomb. Even seeing one of these would make me so so happy.

I really don't mind paying for DLC with MK, it's my favorite game franchise of all time, it's one of the few that I really do not mind shelling out the extra cash for. I've bought every single DLC they've released so far for all of their games, and even though I don't agree with some of it, I like supporting NRS because they give me the games that I love.

edit: @unleashyourtongue that's disappointing. I guess it could still be appearing even though it's not on the list but that sucks if it's not actually true. I never actually thought it was true to begin with since this guy trolls on here all the time, so no surprise there.

Yeah it's still possible I suppose. Although the fact that the OP hasn't posted since he made this thread doesn't inspire much confidence lol.
