If it is a story dlc I'd bet it would be "the reiko accords" so maybe we get the comic book story with fujin havik reiko and baraka , throw in a few stages and that would be so epic

Wow this incredible news if indeed true. Can you post your source? MKX is the perfect game to test the waters with such an expansive DLC strategy given it's the best selling MK game of all time. Plus another "Ultimate" Mortal Kombat game is long overdue.

I really should have waited for the Komplete Edition. Sick of paying full price for half a fucking game.

While I am fully in favor of all of these things, I feel like e3 might be a little early considering they will still be in the middle of KP1. I do however think that ComicCon seems much more likely.

Story dlc would be sweet

While i do want more chatacters, I don't care what characters are included (although part of me wants fans to shut up about characters like rain and fujin. I don't know if their inclusion or exclusion would work better.)

Costumes, stages, etc... all sounds great.

There's no way they're going to do Story DLC. That's crazy expensive and takes A LOT of time.

They, technically speaking, could've already made most of it in the initital production timeline and just left it out of the main product. This IS the same company we're talking about that is putting out a shit ton of DLC for Arkham Knight including;

- A Batgirl solo campaign
- Extra side-quest villains for story mode
- Extra bits of story to play through pre and post campaign for Batman's allies
- Extra challenge maps, ect.

That's A TON of content compared to what they have been doing previously; i.e. one stand-alone expansion and a few challenge maps. WB spares no expense when it comes to DLC when something is a massive hit. I think they've more than proven that at this point.

As far as story DLC for MKX though, we'll see. However a second Kombat Pack is pretty much a given at this point so it could just be wishful thinking.

LOL While this is a good argument, you do realize for those of us with legitimate sources it's a little bit more complicated than that, right? If it were that easy, everything would leak about everything daily because it'd be so easy. Plus, at this point, is proof even necessary? E3 is next week, we'll know in a week's time whether this is true or horseshit.

I don't think any of us really think of this as confirmed but we all see just a good opportunity to discuss what may be coming

I always take stuff like this with a grain of salt, but I've seen so much chatter about it recently that i'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt.

However, having them continue the story, elaborating on Dark Raiden and the star crossed rulers of the Netherrealm is a bit disheartening.

That's a hella good cliffhanger for the next game. At most, I'd expect added QTEs for Raiden, Jacqui, and Cassie (because why in the world didn't they have any in the first place?) as well as one extra chapter for missing deets. Like Fujin and the revenants' whereabouts, how Raiden went haywire, or further details on the happenings of the Kotal Krew.

But go ahead NRS. By all means, blow me away.
