lol, I've been coming to this site on and off since like 2005 and people have always, ALWAYS talked about how things are getting worse and worse. The site is the same as ever, just with higher traffic due to the game coming out so little internet fights break out more often.

That said, Rain is one of my favorites but OP made me laugh. So did that "set fire to the raaaaaaiiiinn" post somebody made, that was awesome. At least now everyone can agree that Rain is...wait for it wait for it wait for it....well done

I personally wouldn't be a fan of this idea. I like Rain the way he is (not at the moment because he has seen better days) a cool royal looking ninja. Someone mentioned earlier an idea where Rain sufferers a near death experience and his demigod powers awakens his true strength which to me sounds rad as fuck.

I sympathize with you Ahnka, to a degree. It's blatantly obvious who my favorite/main is, but my Top 5 fav characters also consist of Sareena, Rain, Tanya and Liu. So you can see my predicament. I have my favorites that get their due but besides my number 1 spot (Kenshi) and my number 5 spot (Turkey boy), my other favorites get little to no love what-so-ever so I know your pain, at least some of it. Yes, some of the jokes (Reptile licking salty tears) are distasteful however I personally cracked up like hell at the Adele one, I thought that was pretty funny and clever.

You just gotta roll with the punches, my friend. Live a little, laugh a little, love a little. I can't speak for everyone in here but its in times like this, the home stretch when not just yours but others favorites are getting the chopping block, that a little MK humor comes in handy. Our favorites will be back, this just ain't their time, my man. So kick back, relax, and just crack a smile. After all, I only wanna see you laughing in the purple rain. lol

No, seriously, I don't understand. I'm a Sub-Zero fan.

My favourite characters are Noob Saibot, Li Mei, Mavado, Rain & Nitara.

Only two (and one as DLC) in MK9. Maybe 0 in MKX.

But at least with the comics, Mavado is still a menace, and Rain is even powerful than badass Kotal Kahn.

And Frost survived too. In fact, the only thing that I "hate" from comics for now is making Reiko a badass too.

Heck, my two favorite characters are LITERALLY on the opposite ends of the popularity spectrum. I know one of them has a snowball's chance in the Netherealm of making the game so it's not keeping me up nights.

On the other hand, I suppose it's way harder for fans of a character who's somewhere in the middle of love and hate (i.e., Rain) to continue waiting this out.
