Rain is in my top 5 favorite MK characters of all time, having said that.

you know Rain is a fiction character right and no harm was done since he doesnt exist. Even in the story he just got a bad sunburnt he'll be fine and healthy later.

You need to lighten up, because it is a funny joke. If someone made johhny cage a meatbag after he slipped and fell off a cliff and landed his groin on a railing and died. I'd find it hilarious because its just a joke, and then end of the day tthey will eventually be back and alive and kicking ass


Still doesn't make up for the fact that this thread is POINTLESS. It could've easily gone in the comic spoiler thread. Ya know, where 500 more Rain/Meat jokes are being cracked.

But then again it probably feels good for people to sit back and know their favorite "popular" is never going anywhere and what else is there to do besides make jokes at the minority?

Rain, Reiko, Mavado, and Darrius are part of my top 7 favorites. i know a bit about favorite charcters not seeing daylight.

and i'm welcome to threads like this because they bring humor to the board and don't start out at attcks on people, until people bitch and whine and make themselves a target

But yup, as always, I'm the trouble maker. If speaking up about the constant bullshit the minority fanbases go through is "trolling" then so be it.

I'm tired of this and will speak out on it when it's done. Just like everyone else speaks out on what they want to speak out on.

Not angry- annoyed. And I don't care what other so-called Rain fans find "funny", most of those people simply "like him" in the sense he's an OK character, it's a little different when he's your exact favorite.

Either way I'm done for now. Too irritated and tired to keep arguing with people who simply continue to crap on anyone that's not from the first two games.

Don't let me stop the fun.

But that doesn't mean I feel bad for Rain, because he's clearly not dead. In fact, even though I'm not a fan, I feel worse for Sub-Zero fans because Scorpion's always killing him in preview's and things.

As a Rain fan, I get it.

The jokes aren't too surprising since his "death" is a relevant topic at the moment, so that will pass my friend. However, just like with Boon's trolling, there comes a point where it's not "humorous" but just flat out spiteful. I know I couldn't keep my cool 24/7 if Reptile received the same treatment and/or was constantly trolled. Your passion for your favorite is admirable.

Kotal uses blood magic to scorch Rain, but Rain's not dead, just burnt.

Nothing is seen of him after, but he says," Nnnn~" implying he's not dead and its just a way for a temporary defeat.

I think people have been overreacting a lot lately over some petty stuff.. Let us calm the fuck down. even the Midway boards wasn't this dramatic back in the day.

Just logging in to say... Holy fuck these forums are shitty now. Constant bitching, fighting, trolling... I love it. My favorite part is when one of the random hate-spewing members here blames the mods for it, then a mod lovingly chimes in reminding them that they just spent ten pages fighting on the internet completely by choice.

Thread is kind of a funny joke, by the way. I chuckled. Would be nice if Rain survives that though.
