Eh, I don't think so. Being a horribly disfigured burn victim is Kabal's thing.

Technically they could, sure...but seeing that Rain is a demigod (or even full god, we don't know anything about his mother), I don't see these injuries lasting long.

That is his new look in the comic, but he was scorched. He could have a different one.

It's kind of funny. Back in 2009 I was just sketching away and I drew up this design for rain post Armageddon where he was one of the survivors who's powers were amplified by Taven killing Blaze. For some reason I gave him this charred look, as if he had survived being electrocuted. Because in my head he was to be this more monstrous deformed successor to Raiden.

I don't think Rain is Argus' son as much as he is his distant (but still direct) descendant. So yeah, I guess the implication here is that Argus did have a child with another woman at some point.

I'm a devout Rain fan. He is my 2nd favorite behind Reiko. But this post made my morning. Nice one!

Im holding on to hope that Kittlesen had Rain survive this attack for a reason. Maybe a near death experience is going to awaken some inner powers, and Rain becomes the Edenian Water God he is meant to be.
