I hope they go all out on the DLC.

I'm not planning to get this one since I can't really afford it, but it looks like a great game and I hope the fans are able to get a lot more extra goodies. Bring on Fujin, Reiko, Kai, The Portal, Ying Yang Island, etc. NRS always does something cool for the fans.

The thing with that is, the next DLC characters are probably already done. Future poll or not, I think all of the DLC (including ones coming after Kombat Pack) are probably already being worked on as we speak so in that sense, he's not lying.

There will be more than the main 4. Even Hans Lo pretty much confirmed this.

I don't know, Han Solo would say anything to get out of a jam. If Luke sensed the presence of a larger roster, then maybe.

Rain, Fujin, Frost, Sareena, and Bo Rai Cho are probably the most likely to have a chance. Maybe Frost and Bo Rai Cho slightly less since their models weren't as detailed really.

Is Tremor in story mode at all? i know you don't fight him, but is he seen in the background or even mentioned at all?

if they go with the 4 or 5 characters again it may be Rain, Baraka, Li Mei, Sareena, and Fujin. Guys I am also hoping if some of these don't make it they might could make some room for Bo' Rai' Cho' and Frost since they were also in the story.

Well there we have it, Ed Boon won't mention anything he isn't ready to mention. Someone asked him about other media opportunities for MK and he completely skipped over mentioning the new web series. I can now safely say future DLC characters are a given.

He also confirmed DLC MAY have alternates. He sounded hesitant to answer.

Honestly though, I have to say, Rain fans are definitely the most vocal compared to other characters it seems. Dunno why, even myself. I guess he's just that cool :D

I wouldn't mind if Rain is DLC, but I feel like Fujin needs to come first. Rain was already DLC in MK9, I don't know why people want him so badly again.

Because this is the first game Rain's ever really been taken completely seriously? lol Even in Armageddon they made him a prince just to give people the chuckles. Now he finally has some depth. But so does Fujin. They both deserve to be released, honestly.

I thought he was taken pretty seriously in MK9. Even though he didn't appear in story, I thought he had a good enough role as DLC. His costume was great, his move-set was great although he could have been buffed. Honestly I believe he should have been on disc along with Fujin and the others.



Well it's just like when Rain was released in MK9, he was barely fucking used. He was released and no one gave a shit about him, then when MKX rolls around it's the same fucking thing lol.

I guess i'm just surprised there's still this large of a demand for him. I like Rain as well, but I feel like characters like Fujin, Havik, Bo, Li Mei etc have so much potential but instead people want Rain as DLC again. It just seems a bit redundant.

Fujin, Li Mei, and Rain are musts. If there are more than Bo Rai Cho, Frost, Baraka, Sareena, Smoke and Sindel should have a chance.

that's why i think Fujin is teased in chapter one and the trailers, people get a glimpse and want what they cant have(well he also deserves to be in MKX)
