At the end of the day, beyond the story mode, bios, endings, allegiances and whatever, this is a fighting game.
A fighting game needs different characters with original moves that stand out from each other.
MKX's overall tone is such a 180 degree from MK9 that you really don't see the place for characters like Meat.... which is why I would love to see him.
Meat in all his next-gen glory, throwing his head at people, pulling his eye out to regain health, turning people into ground beef with his cleaver...
The failed experiment that created Meat was never done by Shang Tsung in this timeline. What if Meat would be Shang Tsung trying to recreate his body this time around?

You make some good points about who is getting the limelight. My personal opinion, however, is that inclusion in the game is different than being singled out for dlc. Rain is part of the group of characters who aren't popular enough to justify a guaranteed inclusion but come close. I just think that other characters of a similar popularity should be given a chance.
Additionally, I think we all would appreciate a peaceful discussion without attacking characters or users. Not meaning to be rude.

Fucking Scorpion lover, you have a lot of nerve. You should be the LAST mother fucker talking about "lime light" and "attention hogging" when your character will never be in danger of missing a future game EVER. Spoiled brat.
