definitely an interesting fact. but remember the game got a reset so Kano would still be in mid 30's in MK9 events. So if he was to be in the MKX game (which i hope he is) he would be in his 50-60's depending on how old he was up to the events in MK9. But good call. I definitely would love to see an Old Man Kano.

I agree with jdnice11. Kano needs to be in the game, to put an end to his storyline, having his lackluster role in MK9 as his final appearance, would be tragic for the fans of a very iconic character from MK1.

I think Divizio himself would be insulted if his character ended like that.

Well... despite that last time I met him, I never really did bother to ask him how he felt about that. That is if he ever plays the game, which I'm sure he did. You know... Yeah.

I think Kano deserves more credit! He's got an awesome Australian accent and has got some of the most brutal fatalities in the series. Also he seemed to some what care about his old pal Kabal, why else would he go through the trouble of keeping him alive in MK9?

I didn't really like his looks in MK9 as I feel they made him to hairy. my favorite look for him was when he was bald. A close second would have to be his MKDA look, he was quite a tough looking guy in that one.

Anyways, if he makes it into MKX, what do you think his role would be? I Really liked him in MK:DA as Shang tsungs right hand man, but it doesn't seem like that will be happening again anytime soon.

One supposes that the Black Dragon gang would have to have SOME kind of representation in the game, since he didn't die in MK9.

I just hope that, in the process of making him look older, they give him the receding hairline back. I just don't think being conventionally handsome suits Kano, he's supposed to be an aging sleazeball gangster.

Kano's role in MKX:
Lets see with Jax being dead, i think Sonya couldn't handle Kano constantly. He was caught all those times because of Jax, but as we all know, he always escaped. Kano is in now way a disciplined or a finesse fighter but he is pretty adept in fighting and can throw down and surprise you.
Back on topic: Kano's Role!
- I think with the lack of Hero's especially Jax, Kano is able to amass enough power/wealth to build up the Black Dragon and start corrupting the city and still be in contact/cahoots with Outworld. (As i would assume Outworld still wants to merge with Earthrealm, they Promise Kano a Amnesty). Kano has become more of a Crime Lord/Boss instead of an Underground Boss.

-He should be even more ruthless and hands on but still manipulative and will save his own skin before helping someone else. His Lt's should Kira & Tasia, His Enforcer/Right Hand Man should be Tremor as they all control the Minions/Thugs and report to him.

-I would love for him to have a Newer look. Since in MY version he is a Crime Lord He should be in a Suit rolled up sleeves, that suggest he gets his hands dirty. (Like a Kazuya from Tekken.) he always carries his famous Raptor Tooth Knife, but also has a dbl gun holster around his shoulder.

Just my take on how i would love to see Kano's story evolve.

I for one am very very satisfied with Kano's new look. NRS really put forth alot of effort into Kano. His moves are brutal and that Xray...OMG i can watch it over and over. I can't wait to see the full fatality...

We can opt out of seeing "old" Kano. The reason why he is not old as we thought he would be, is because he was frozen in ice for time. Who knows, Kano could have been in a deep freeze, rather than just frozen.

This will not be his last game. NRS will find a way to bring him back once more. That way is, giving him cybernetic enhancements (limbs).

Fucking stop perpetuating that goofy bullshit about him still being frozen. We KNOW Kano had thawed out BY THE NEXT SCENE because Noob says he warned them that Cyber-Sub was coming to the graveyard.
