I'm down for anything they're doing in MKX, the only thing i'm really rooting for is old Kano. From the very start when Boon said we'll see characters returning, but older I knew it had to be Kano as one of them.

I'd be so surprised if Sonya makes it in, Johnny I could kinda see. Both of them being in is a waste. There's a limited amount of vets that can even make it in so why have both of them, along with Cassie? Makes no sense. Kano is a shoe-in IMO. He's more in than Johnny or Sonya at this point because of Cassie having both of their powers.

With Seido training, I think Johnny would make one badass hero for MKX.

Really hoping that ending was canon.

As for Kano, you know, I think I played him the least of any MK character. His storyline and appearance just never stuck with me. The only time I ever select his portrait is when I'm just fucking around or when I want to see his arcade ending. Beyond that, he's just...bleh.

BUT, I think I could dig an older Kano with a more broken body held together by cybernetics. The life of a criminal is a dangerous and brutal one, and Kano's appearance should reflect that. After a quarter of a century, Kano should look absolutely fucked up. I'm talking the epitome of gritty, and downright disfigured.

I'd play that Kano.

Kano is a violent criminal. I doubt he's going to live 25 years into the future unless it is in prison.

But if we go way back and dig up the original character bios from the very first game, today Kano would be 57 years old. Add in the 25 years in the MKX timeline for kicks and he'd be 82.
