The last good new characters in Tekken were the ones in Tekken 5. With Tekken 7, the only one I can say looks good is Shaheen. Maybe Katarina but that's because I have a weakness for Latinas. I still haven't forgiven them for Lars and Alisa.

Cassie Cage, D'Vorah, Ferra/Torr, and Kotal Kahn are better than any of Tekken's newest characters by far.


You're semi roght about that but tekken and other franchises dont play the favorite game. They dont say such and such is more popular and better so we will bring him back over such and such. They just include pretty much everyone to make everyone happy. They dont say well we have to bring kung lao back instead of giving fujin a chance since more people like kung lao. and im a huge king lao fan but was kinda dissapointed to see him back. I wouldn't have cared if they put jarek and kobra in over kung lao this time.

I like Lars and Alisa in Tekken 6 ^

The new two new chicks in Tekken 7 look shit though (Appearance wise), is the boss Kazuya's mother? She looks terrible too (Gameplay wise).

And holy shit, only yesterday I found out that Leo in Tekken 6 is a girl!! I had no idea.

It really feels like the idea to make a game featuring every character in the franchise is something that came above and wasn't something the team had a real say in, so they went ahead and slapped together this sloppy clusterfuck of a game to please their corporate overlords at Midway. I don't think they had any post-Armageddon ideas, though.

From the moment Armageddon was announced, people were saying that the team will use it as a way to get rid of some of the less popular characters in the franchise, clean up the roster and start from a more-or-less clean slate. That's pretty much what ended up happening with MK9.

I guess we just didn't really expect it to retroactively damage the old continuity up to that point. :/

I think it's Kotal below Kitana. And yes, that guy on the left tower does look like Shinnok, although I thought of Reiko the second I looked at it.

Yes, it is. And I think it's Ermac and Ferra/Torr.
Even if this is a fake i can still dream that they make it in somehow...

As for Tekken...
I only play Devil Kazuya.
