The sky thing immediately makes me think "look to la luna" which of course or Reptile.

If he's the next character revealed, I'll be happy. Always liked him.

But if it's Fujin, well, that'd be awesome. I'd really like to see what they could do with a wind god with the power of next gen and the skills that NRS has at their disposal.

I suppose it could also be Quan Chi (teleport stomp) or Sindel or Ermac, who have both had floating abilities in the past, and Nitara had wings, but that might be overthinking it.

Also hoping for Baraka, Shinnok, Bo Rai Cho, Sareena, Kira, Li Mei or Shang Tsung, but they don't have anything to do with any possible hints. I just want them in the next game.

Today has the feeling of a revealy kind of day. Here's hoping!! grin

Would be ecstatic if its Fujin, even if it is for me to laugh at some select few's reactions to it. Seems like it could be Fujin or Reptile.

I would be confused if its Jade, because if she appears to be alive, obviously that is a change from the events of MK9...

The Brazil Game Show is October 8th - 12th. That's definitely fits the timeframe of the monthly reveal pattern.

And I remember Hector Sanchez saying that Jade has a huge following in Brazil back near MK9's release (Brazilians, care to comment? Is this true? Does anyone have the link to that video? I have to find it. I remember being somewhat surprised by that fact.). EDIT: Found it. See post below.

I'm pretty confident it's Jade. The hints, the time frame, the location. It seems fitting to reveal her then and there.

But even if it is Fujin, by chance, I'll still be really happy. I love 'em both. I'm just happy to be hyped once more. grin

I also agree. I'm really tired of watching her say "this will be easy" and then getting her ass whooped.
When did she become another Johnny Cage. I am not liking that.

I'm not going to try a speculate, I don't want to get my hopes up for Jade and be disappointed. Fujin would also be a great addition, as the hints seem to point to him little more, but I hope I'm wrong and it is Jade or both of them!

Because the tweet that says "Open your eyes, look up to the skies and see....."
has some what of a reference to Reptile's hint when he drops in MK1 before a match and the screen says "Look to La Luna" meaning the moon.

Jade really is versatile when it comes to the whole variation thing as well. Razorangs, Staff, Shadow moves, and now the possibility of being possessed by another could give her even more powers for her arsenal.

Kitana has fans. Mileena has sais. Jade is loaded with things that could that be variation specific though.

Hoping for Jade. Whoever this possession bitch is better bring my girl back to life.lol

And if by "soon" they meant several weeks from now thats fuckin annoying.

If its Reptile that'll be cool and fit the pattern, if its Fujin that'll be a combo breaker and open the flood door for other MK4 and later possibilities which would be hype. If its Jade then wtf, still hype though. Hoping its Reptile but won't be disappointed by whatever we get just as long as its a character reveal, Goro gameplay, or more gameplay in general. Just as long as we get something SOON.
