I am fairly certain the next reveal is Reptile. Boon's first hint; "Open your eyes, look up to the skies and see....." This has to be a hint towards the moon in MK1's Pit stage. His second hint with the JADED comment in it most likely refers to Reptile's color. Besides, it would be a little too obvious to hint towards Jade in such manner. He hasn't hinted in such a way before. Also, lets keep in mind that Reptile is part of the original MK cast

You sure about that? Because I remember seeing many obvious tweets when he started hinting Goro, e.g: "Nice head" with the picture of his head from the original MK movie, Get Out Really Out, and so on.

Yep I agree. No way a Boon is just going to say the character's name like that. JADED is most likely a reference to Fujin's jade colored pants, because the lyrics to Bohemian Rhapsody so clearly point to Fujin, you'd have to be blind not see the correlation. It's Fujin people. If I'm wrong I'll come back to this thread and eat crow.

Guys, the lyric is from the song "Bohemian Rhapsody". Bohemia is mostly in the Czech Republic. The historical capitol of Bohemia is Prague. Who's from Prague...?

I'll make it easy; "look up to the skies and see" is obviously referencing a god in MK. "Any way the wind blows" combined with the previous lyric is obviously referencing the God of Wind. So easy, it's Fujin.

2.) Kenshi, from "[Open your eyes] look up to the skies and see"
3.) Reptile, from "look up to the skies and see", similar to the old classic "Look to la luna"
4.) Fujin, based on the mention of the word "skies" (though I'd be far more convinced if the "any way the wind blows" was actually tweeted)
5.) Jade, from the Beyonce-Freddy Mercury tweet, and, as ReptzMK pointed out, she was shown opening her eyes and staring upward in her MK9 ending
6.) Smoke, from the song title "Bohemian Rhapsody", as he originates from Bohemia

I remember when Ed was hinting Zatanna in Injustice, he simply mentioned The Cars (who have a song called "Magic".) That was seriously the whole goddamn hint. How would anyone extrapolate Zatanna simply from 'The Cars'?

I'd say you are stretching it when you're focusing on a portion of the lyric that wasn't even tweeted, and then automatically saying that any other interpretation based on Ed's own words is improbable.

Reading the posts I get the feeling people just roll with whatever intrepretation of the character they want.

It could even be a new character since we know that a lot of characters are new to the franchise.

You could be right but his hints on the whole are so esoteric that they could mean anything. Other then the Goro hints, all the others were obscure.

Just for the record I do not care. For me it is not worth speculating on trying to figure out who it is.

No offense to those various people across the web, but they're really stretching it with how they're reading in to the clues. If the lyrics in Bohemian Rhapsody aren't a reference to Fujin, then I will be very surprised.

You're obviously hoping it's Sonya because of your sig, but none of the clues point to her whatsoever.

You should also put into consideration the rest of the lyrics to the song, then.

Jade was put into a "dream like state" according to her ending so those lyrics would fit perfectly. So far, to me, all signs are pointing towards Jade.

You know they could reveal more than just one character tomorrow (or whenever the reveal(s) may be. I've just been reading and I haven't seen this mentioned so don't be expecting only one character. We could always get some other features revealed as well. Time will tell. I'm so hyped!!!
