Did I miss a release date change? At the end of the English version of that trailer it says 17/04/15? Really bad if they change the Europeon release now. Just have it worldwide like most AAA titles.

Also it looked from that like Jax is freed from Quan Chi's control before Kung Lao (looked a bit of a scene between normal Jax and revemtnant Kung Lao). And I wonder if the Jacqui-Ermac fight comes from a Jacqui chapter.

But I'm pretty sure Sektor is dead after Subby Wubby takes over the Lin Kuei, because of course he kills Sektor, there is not other way to make the story more interesting other than meaningless death.

Sektor, I will miss you dearly, I know the Special forces scavenged you for parts and shared them across the board.

They look fun to play as. Jax has a great design too and looks pretty badass, but I still find Jacqui a bit bland to look at.

I still feel that Jax could have been combined into one of Jacqui's variations though like Jade was in Kitana's. I mean obviously that would mean sacrificing one of Jacqui's currently unknown variations but I'd rather have had Jax's slot free for a character we haven't seen in a while.

I can't wait to see what happens to the cyberninjas. Sodium overload incoming.

Also ready to see Kenshi deal with Takeda's abandonment issues.

Jax has never been a high point for me in the series, but Jacqui looks interesting. She looks quick and fairly brutal in her attacks. She's definitely someone I wouldn't mind trying out when I get the game. And like others have said, I'll main her out of spite. Start a fan club, get stickers, tramp stamps, etc. One should say "Ur faves r ded, I have their moves."

Here's a hope Jacqui feels like Sektor. If so, I'll try even harder to like her. But now, count me in the "wasted roster spots" camp.

I want two more characters to help makeup the blandness of these two. That's the problems with some of these family members....if they are not going to differ considerably from their parents or even other characters, why bother?

Nope, and it only further confused me why they went this route. She seems to be essentially Sektor... so why not just have Sektor instead of a 100% boring looking fighter with Lex Luthor gauntlets? As for Jax, he looks ok, no big complaints about him; I am just meh about him being in, but bored/confused about Jacqueline. I would have far, far preferred Kai be the extra Shaolin Monk instead of Liu "turkey gobbles" Kang. Still have not seen enough of Sonya in action to know how I feel about her taking up a roster spot. Otherwise, I am happy with the roster, assuming Fujin is playable, and Reiko.

They have mostly succeeded as most of the new fighters are great additions. That said, Jacqui is NOT. Her design is boring, and since you noted it, the same old stuff, i.e. a ho-hum fighter reminiscent of lazy designs from years past, such as Kobra, Darrius, etc.

And I'm perfectly fine with that. Cyrax is my absolute favorite, but I've stated many times that I do not need a certain fighter to be in the roster to enjoy the game.

Shh... come here, bring it in close for a hug. She is just a poorly designed Sektor after gender reassignment surgery. Her Lex Luthor gauntles are the ONLY thing interesting about her. Every MK needs a roster stinker, and she seems to be the winner of that title for MKX.

Sektor used straight missiles, homing missiles, uppercut punches and flamethrowers.

The only in-game move we've seen is an anti-air spinning double missile. There's 2 characters using guns in the game and 2 characters with status modifying variations. This is still a case of waiting to know her variations.

But it's cool. People hate her since the story trailer, it's gonna change now.
