I don't know why people are dead set on believing Jacqui would be a Jax clone. Besides their names, what about them is similar?

Nothing really, one has cyber arms and one has some arm attachments that shoot projectiles, they really aren't that similar to me lol

Ermac's voice is garbage, in fact it is like garbage being crushed. I can barely make out what it says. Definately the worst. Kung Lao's dubbing was the best. Suited the character and was clear. Good.

Not enough gameplay was shown for me to make opinions of Jax and Jacqui. I presume we will see more in tomorrow's Kombat Kast.

Need to see more of their game play but they still seem pretty boring to me.

Cool trailer but will need to see more gameplay to decide if I want to play them.

If Jax has chain throws I will definitely play him. He's been the series' grappler, time for him to get some damn chain throws.

I want to be excited for them but I just can't. I'll have to see more before a solid opinion.

Usually, games are released in Europe on a Friday, three days after the North America release. That would be the most obvious reason.

Am I the only one who noticed/ was excited about the tidbit of Jacqui's fatality because of the way the opponents back was totally blown out?! I have no idea what happened, but this looked like a deviation from the split/ slice/ stab fatalities and like it actually showed off what they can do with the gore technology when it comes to body mutilation and it looks awesome! I stopped it and tried to see it in a couple of different frames and I am pretty sure that the back of the opponents head is blown out instead of the head being split or taken off completely (as well as a large portion of the back being blown out).

God, that sounds so morbid when I go back and read it but I suppose that tends to happen when your a fan of MK...

Still not a big fan of Jacqui but the trailer made me more excited. Same for Jax. Game play looked improved although similar and fatality was pretty awesome.

Damn, what is it with fans and their hatred of characters that make said characters even more fun to play as just to spite them?

Stryker, Drahmin, Li Mei, etc and now Jacqui.

And so people never forget: Jacqui owning Sub-Zero. And possibly Ermac, too. Heh.

But enough with the whiny fans. Jacqui and Takeda clearly seemed to like one another. I wouldn't mind them as a couple, as a Black woman + an Asian man isn't very common in fiction.

Here's two names for them: Jacqueda, or Taki.

Jax looks great.. Just like everybody else in the game.. Makes me want to use fighters this time around that I never used before... Jax is one of them..

Jacqui looks cool... We didn't see enough at all to make a real judgement... If u have then your going off too little info and that means ur not open to her, so then forget about her... Yes she took the spot of some of your favs that could have been in... Too bad!

I for one will try everybody in this game at least once! Straight up

Great trailer.

To be honest I've never been a fan of Jax and thought he was a wasted spot on the roster..but after watching the trailer I like his design a lot more in this and he looks fun to play as.

As for Jacqui, eh, still not sold on her yet but we will see.

I'm curious about their other variations.

It looked like Jax was using his "Pumped Up" variation the whole time, and I really don't know anything about Jacqui yet.

Can't say it's unfounded. They DO look bland. But I will reserve judgement until I play.

Personally, I would have rather had Kai in place of Jax.

People who regularly play fighting games like certain play styles. Maybe jax and his daughter don't fit what they usually like and they already know they will not like them.
