I hope so. Fujin is such a great character that haven't really gotten his due. And the kicker is the fans like him and have been asking for more of him for years but we never get it. I mean I'm still a bit jaded about him not being in Deception.

I'm hoping Sareena makes it in. Sareena and Tanya are the top two females I want more than any thing in this game. Nitara would be an amazing addition too.

Sareena is honestly one of my favorite female characters and she is long overdue for a comeback like Fujin. She's on the top of my list right now lol

Digging all the Tanya love. I could definitely see her being one of the mascots of this game. Sort of how Mileena was to Deception and MK9.

How was she supposed to be in the fourth game?

We discovered that in Tournament Edition of Deadly Alliance (the crappy gameboy advance game) during her time from Mythologies - Deadly Alliance that she (more so her essence) was banished for years in the Fifth Plane of the Netherrealm. She was her demon self rather than her human self because Shinnok destroyed it.

Thus, why she hasn't been in a game since. They didn't forget about her at all, and the only female character that I know of that was SUPPOSED to be in the fourth was Kitana, but she was replaced with Tanya. I really wouldn't say they forgot about her at all.

She was considered to be in early in the MK4 stage but they put Fujin in instead or w.e They wanted another Mythologies character I guess

Sareena was considered for MK4, MKDA, and MKD, but didn't make it into any of them, por dat.

I'd expect Scorpion, Sub-Zero obviously. I'd also expect Fujin, Shinnok, Tanya to be shown. maybe Johnny Cage, Sonya, Raiden and Kitana/Mileena. btw, as TMK pointed out, the frozen forest appears to be located in Earthrealm. anyone think they might bring back some of the urban MK3 era Earthrealm stages again, even though they were just in mK9? personally, I'd like to see some again, and I'd guess they'll include the Portal and Kombat Tomb this time

She was in the GBA version of Deadly Alliance like what IceBaby said earlier.

Honestly, by E3, which is like a week away, I only see them having four playable characters as well. They may show renders or images of other's but I doubt we will get much more than gameplay, and maybe a story mode trailer vauge enough to convey the general plot, but leave all of us guessing. The four playable characters we'll see will be

IF there is a trailer we will see Raiden the four playables and maybe Shinnok's face. Think of how much that already is, for a reveal. They are going to keep the hype train on track up until the release of this game. We will only see the gameplay of those four. Which includes moveset, their X-ray, interactables, and other tons of cool shit. We may also get to see a fatality or two. All that paired with a look at Raiden's costume complete with stills and maybe Shinnok's face, and NRS feels that it is enough to keep us satisfied until Comic Con. Then they reveal another trailer and a character or two then we wait until Gamescom for more stuff, having a few little reveals every month, until about november where it'll start to quiet down a bit until 2015 where an official release date will be given along with pre-order bonuses
