Do you actually see Rain in the issue?

No reiko just uses him to block the sun out to make the osh-tek warriors weaker because they are weaker without the sun and stronger when the sun is out!

Again this issue ends just as it gets good. The terrible side effect of weekly digital issues.

I don't think they'll disappoint us when it comes to Mileena.... They are probably just building Reiko up first and then when it's time for Mileena and Kotal to cross paths thats when we'll see her true knowledge and power

This comic keeps getting better and better. Looking forward to seeing Kotal Kahn and Goro go at it.

Absolutely loved it. Poor Kotals, both of them. I see Kotal does eventually become a god even though he's not a natural born one. I remember a few people called it and said Kotal would use the Kamidogu to become a god.

I find it funny that Kotal bashed his dad's head in for asking for his stuff back, but here he's all like oh mah famlay!

There is no set end. The comic will keep going as long as people keep buying it.

Reiko narrarating over the chapter? This guy's gonna play a big role in the comics, if not in the game.

The blood code comes from the elder gods..

Perhaps whoever possessed Fox didn't have anything to do with the blood code after all, he just performed it to empower himself. And.. Rain can completely block out the sun with storm clouds? Now there's some demigod power being shown.

Another thing, was that Alien Reiko was fighting at the beginning of this chapter? Lol

Why not? The Elder gods are in fact the gods that came before the other gods. And it's not far fetched to think of gods that want blood sacrifices in exchange for something. Not to mention Raiden said he invoked the elder gods when he cut himself with a kamidogu.

Holy shit, what a ride.

Also note that we briefly saw that hammer before in the background of Quan Chi's study. I guess it finds its way back to Outworld after the Netherrealm War. It's been alluded before that Kotal helped out back then, and I could definitely see him coming across that hammer down in the Netherrealm and claiming it as his trophy.

God I hope they dont end up killing ever nonMKX character off. MK has a roster good enough to support its own comic easily. Reiko using the Oshtek against themselves was great. Fucking Reiko just wow. He uses Goro, Rain, Mavado, Red Dragon, and Lin Kuei tech all in one plan. Ive always liked Reiko, but now I love the dude.
I hope they dont build Mileena up. in the new timeline she is simply not fit to rule.
