Do you know that KI is not your standard fighting game, which comes with all characters, right?
So comparision is senseless.

I find it funny that some are saying there are more on this roster players are excited to play as than any other MK game......so Armageddon was lacking?

Armageddon lacking is an understatement. The 3D era of MK overall had really bad gameplay. Not a single character ever did anything that made me go WOAH.
MKX is an entirely different story. Polish, attention to detail, good design, innovation, etc. are all head and shoulders above MK5-DC. Mavado, Darrius, Kira, Kobra, Hsu Hao, etc. can't hold a candle to the gameplay of Erron Black, Takeda, Kung Jin, etc. That is partially due to the sheer awkwardness of the 3D MKs compared to 2D, but a lot of it is simply better design and execution and polish.
So yes, there are more characters I want to play in this MK than in any previous installment. And yes, Armageddon was lacking.

Roster variety aside, yea I agree. I previous MK games(prior to MK9...though mostly & especially the 3D era ones) were extremely unpolished.
I do wonder if we would ever see an Armageddon+ size roster again. That would be amazing with today's technology.

You literally get 3 versions of each character.

It would be amazing... but it would probably take about twice as long to make. Instead of 4 years waiting for the next game it would probably be at least 6. I am okay with the roster the size it is, considering the whole variation thing.
If it didn't take twice as long, it would probably be unpolished and a mess like Armageddon.

I never hope to see a roster the size of MKA. Yeah we got a ton of characters, but the overall quality was sacrificed.
Fatalities for one thing.

If it happened, the product would have to start with a separate team and then switch over I think after the main team is done making probably an Injustice title. But I don't see it ever happening.

In roster size, no.
Everything else about Armageddon? Fuck yes.

A roster of 60 characters would be a nightmare to polish and balance. I really don't see that happening again now that NRS are putting this much love and attention to detail into their games.

Agreed. IF it happened, and that's a big if, it'd probably be through expansions or re-releases. Or if they did something similar to Killer Instinct and did seasons.

Right the KI route or even like Capcom releasing updated Editions would be the only feasible options. But selling Armageddon as a brand new, full price product came off as sketchy considering all of the MKDA and MKD duplicates. KI is an arcade title and I don't think even Capcom's updated SF Editions were full priced. That's something I'm not really cool with.

What if Erron Black turned out to be Kurtis Stryker who went mental after being freed from Quan Chi's control? Or maybe used his "second chance" to be a badass cowboy because it was a good way of concealing his identity and it was something that he always wanted to do?

I don't like Sindel or Jade. I hate Li Mei. Don't have anything against, but don't really care about Fujin, Reiko, Havik, or Frost. I sort of like Noob and Shang Tsung, but think they're tired and undeserving of roster spots.
