Well... I wasn't replying to your post. I had seen your answer to Minion's screenshot. But that doesn't mean I can't reply to Minion's post. Who knows, maybe he's going to post a screenshot now with only 5 or 6 characters.

And for your information, the select screen doesn't bother me. Only thing that bothers me is that Goro is in the select screen while he's not selectable if you don't buy him.

Nice little theory on Kotal Kahn but to me because he's a Kahn, it fits he's in the middle. Doesn't mean anything.

Im actually fairly happy with the roster. Its not perfect but this is the first MK that has more than 2 characters I want to get significantly good with. Fujin and Havik would have been nice, but there's more good in MKX than bad. Here's to hoping for more and better DLC.


Also, all DLC should be on the select screen just like Goro is now. That seems to likely be the case. There's plenty of room just by squeezing the floating boxes together a bit. I hated the expanded slot from MK9 and Im glad it looks like it's gone.

Anyway, I think the roster is awesome. Sure I'd like to see Fujin playable, but that doesn't make me not like the roster that's there. I've never wanted to play as so many characters. Usually there's only a few characters that I'm actually interested in, but this time around, there's only one character that I'm not completely sold on and that's Jaqui, and that might change with the next stream.

So yeah. I think the roster is super duper snazzy.

They don't have to resize the boxes, just push them together a bit as each DLC character comes out. There's a LOT of excess space between and below the boxes. Other games have used this strategy and it seems like that's the whole point of MKX's floating box system.

I really don't think the DLC will extend vertically. There's too much going on UI wise above the boxes. And it's just not necessary if you decrease the empty spaces between boxes. We'll see soon though. Who knows.

No I'm right there with ya. I'd actually love to see an Ultimate Mortal Kombat X with like 6+ more characters on top of all the standard DLC. That's definitely wishful thinking though. haha

One of those squares, probably Goro's or the ? will open up more squares for unlockables and DLC when you highlight it, so I'm still hoping for all of those characters that got new models (Sareena, Fujin, Rain, Baraka...) and the ones heavily featured in the comic (Reiko, Havik...). Why make Tremor and Tanya DLC when they got multiple demanded characters with brand new models? I'm sure they will have some use at some point, resources must be optimized!

That's just the way to obtain the character, it doesn't imply it's a secret one. One of the already revealed characters is the unlockable, probably Shinnok. Boon mentioned all the roster was revealed.
