Guess Li Mei won't appear in 10 huh?

I don't care for Li Mei. I'd rather they made room for the more interesting ones instead of wasting character slots by putting Li Mei in.

Li Mei was an interesting character through mkda and mkd. It was due to her development in my eyes. With the events of mkda and mkd not happening in this storyline I couldn't see her having the same character development and thus not being as interesting. I'd love to see her in her amour from mkd, that was badass.

I would love to see Li Mei again. I loved her.

Li Mei, imo, could be one of the characters most affected by the alteration of time. If the Deadly Alliance doesn't happen, if Li Mei's village doesn't get invaded, how different could her story be, if she still gets involved?

She's one character they can pretty much start anew with. The possibilities for character development are vast.

Ok I admit I thought she was mileena when she was introduced in mkda. But I was only like 12 and it isn't that unreasonable for those who are casual gamers to assume that, especially with the time gap between the games and the whole new gameplay and feel and stuff.

But I think her story was great! I loved her transition from mkda to mkd story wise and design wise. And I love her "deception" at the end and siding with Onaga.

I hope she returns. I hope she replaces jade/Kitana as the good li mei and has a storyline/rivalry with Tanya.

Li Mei, to me, always kind of seemed like she snuck in off the set of a different fighting game, but that's what I liked about her. She was very different and fresh and I found myself picking her a lot in MKDA. I would love to see what they do with her in MKX, especially now with the particle effects of next-gen, she could sparkle like crazy. I think it would also be cool to see the juxtaposition of her sparkling explosions on the dark backgrounds, I'd actually like it if every time her attacks connected it created a Jubilee like sparkle explosion.

Dude, you have the same idea as me for Li Mei. That's actually what I think they should do with her. Her powers could be mini explosives or fireworks. I think that could really work for her. Plus, her carnival kick should return in some way.

Li Mei needs to be series mainstay. She betrayed goddamned planets because she wanted to fuck a dragon. Best character in anything ever.

One of my favourite chars from DA/D/A. I sure hope she makes a comeback. Given the quite powerful story arc she had in just two games, imagine how well this potential could translate into a timespan of 25 years. The fact that she started in DA as quite young also helps her chances for full inclusion in the whole timespan.

Of course, the main thing i liked about her was primarily the gameplay, i used to do some pretty sweet combos using just popups. and keeping the opponent on guard with her 'keep away' kicks.

I don't care for her... I don't find her story intriguing. She always seems so generic to me.

I wish Li Mei has a makeover and that she would like a kung fu martial artist.

Super bland character outside some flashy moves, barely anything even remotely memorable about her or that even indicates something about her background. Nothing but Outworld bewbs. She looks like she belongs to another game

I know I'm in a slim minority here, but her Deception ending was my favorite thing about her.

Even though I'm not her biggest fan, she's a decent supportive character to the other's storylines.

Interesting storyline (connection w/BRC), but needs to wear clothes in her next appearance.

Her MKDA primary showed just enough skin but wasn't slutty, and lookked like something a martial artist would wear. The problem is that they made her boobs bounce too much for no reason.

If she does come back my dreams will come trueeee!! But since she cant use sais anymore its either that kunlun dao she wielded in deception or just her karate i guess lol :o

She took Mileena's place in MKDA looking exactly like her without the mask. And that is why I will forever hate her

I should hate her too for that reason but since Mileena was in deception and was perfection im not upset at li mei for trying to be the queen, imitation is just a form of flattery.

Anyways, she deviated from the MIleena wannabe with her deception story. I do wish her deception ending was cannon, I loved it. She actually had story significance as being the victor of the DA tournament so I still hope she returns!

Li Mei sucked. Looks like a damned pirate-ass Kitana. Posibly the second worst character design in videogame history, after Ashrah. Everyone says.

I really hope she'll be in, I believe she could be a kickass heroine in this story-line, and with updated armor she could really look the part as well. Moveset wise I can imagine her gaining even more acrobatic attacks.

However I am starting to doubt her chances. With the reveal of Kung Lao I think we'll be seeing a lot more returning dead characters, rather than 3D era characters.

Story aside(I dont' give a swat on that anyway, on a fighting games), when she first debuted on the MKDA. She rather felt weak and fragile in gameplay, which is all I am looking for in a fighting game. Also, not that easy to master, her Specials wasn't something to sing about either. Regular projetile, and couple of kicks that looked kinda similar, only in opposite directions, well, in a way. I kinda liked her punch furys, and that's about it. She didn't do that much of a damage. She got improved when she returned on MKD however.

As I said number of times, I don't really care much on how the character looks, if they play good and fit my play-style, that's fine with me.

I don't know, I maybe one of the minority here, but, Li Mei is a mixed bag from me. I don't hate her, but I am not a huge fan of her either, but, I wouldn't mind if she returns in MKX, if done right.
