I get that you're starving for those characters to make a comeback and so am I (Ashrah, Kai, Havik..) but I don't think its right for NPCs to be kicked aside to favor those characters.

Yeah even Sindel over Sareena much as I don't like to admit it.

Maybe if your favorite MK9 characters were fightable with no playable version but yet had a new costume on.. Or your most wanted characters had a shell moveset like Story Tanya you would see where I'm coming from..

That's not something I can accept and I don't think NRS should keep doing that for future titles.

Characters who haven't been playable since Armageddon taking a backseat to characters who were in a previous game.

I think the 3D era characters who need to be reinvented would be better served by getting the development time that main roster placement in MK11 would get them. A second round of DLC? This is probably going to be quick and dirty.

Then it looks like I'm the only one who feels this way. That's a real shame...oh well though.

One thing is for sure we're all getting ready for a KP2 and Boon is just teasing us and has been doing so for a while.

I understand where you are coming from, but the issue of fan favorites vs. New and fresh potential is an issue that has shown up in many forms before and it's a hard issue to look upon with no bias. Ultimately it will come down to nrs's decision. They can either satisfy those who are angry at seeing their characters reduced to shells or they can take a risk by offering something a redone version of something we've seen before but didn't love then. If they opt for the latter they risk providing a product that we still might not like. If they opt for the former they risk boring those with no attachment to those characters.

If there isnt an announcement in the next few days I'd say we need to pack it up. Honestly, since the new patch is taking so long, it could be possible that it's gonna be the last one. He basically confirmed a klassic Tremor skin so I bet that's gonna be the compatability skin. I still think that there will be more characters, but I have no idea when they're going to show them. Gamescom seemed like the perfect opportunity and for them to pass it up kinda worries me.

Never expected it to be shown so soon. KP2 was probably started late in the game and wasn't in development when KP1 was so they'd requite time to actually make these characters.

I'd say it matching up with Season 2 of ESL would be the most likely bet and then once all of the characters are released, they'll begin compiling them for the 'Komplete Edition.'

I hadn't really considered that, you're honestly probably right. It would make sense for them to match it up with S2 of ESL for those trailers too. If they take more time to make the characters, i'm all for it. I certainly don't want a Tanya repeat. All I really would like for them to do though is just confirm that there will be one, so we have something to look forward to.

I don't even think we will get a character this month just a trailer or announcement for August and then start rolling characters out one per month in September to December that's 4 months and 4 characters to end the year with

There's no set date yet as far as I know.

The ESL guy just said on TYM to expect a season 2 announcement after PAX East.

Isn't PAX the end of August? So September is when we're looking to expect something IF it's coming basically.
