This loud obnoxious fans don't have enough imagination to think in a original concept for a metal shifting character. I think the ability is kinda cool, but if the only idea for a cool character is another palette swap ninja, you can throw the idea of khrome to the garbage already.

Just going through the non-canon characters in the MK Universe and came across these characters. What if they had the liquid metal ability:

http://mortalkombat.wikia.com/wiki/Asgaarth
http://mortalkombat.wikia.com/wiki/Sylence
http://mortalkombat.wikia.com/wiki/Siang

The last one is pretty cool.

http://mortalkombat.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Non-canon_Characters

The matter is settled.

Khrome will be DLC most likely. I hope he's balanced because he is easily the most OP character based on his abilities.

And that would be why we won't see him. If he can't die, he can't be fatalitied therefore no good in MK.

But really? You searched for non-canon characters just said "yeah this bird guy should have liquid-metal powers"? Birds should be as light as a feather to, you know, FLY.

On the other hand, at least you stopped pushing the ninja idea.

Do you actually believe that? Are you really that delusional? If you're basing it off of that fan poll, you're dead wrong. If there is a KP2 the characters would have been in development for some time now, the poll is completely redundant.
You want hear joke, komrades?

Some folks occasionally push for a pink ninja called Pinklet.
Maybe he can be made of bubblegum, and fire rainbow lasers...

(Serious now)
Others want a new Snow Ninja, different than Sub-Zero`s Ice.
What would that be, throwing snowballs?
Fast ice chunks, snowballs that make you stumble, and heavy snowballs that stumble even if blocked. A snowpile falls on the opponent, knocking them on their face, like Shinny`s overhead skelly hand.
Form a snowball in the hand, and smacking the opponent across the face with it, like a slap.

The developers can simply set Chrome's powers such that he can separate the liquid metal/nanobots compound from his body.

We're doing nanomachines now? Well, fuck, we've already had that!

Khrome is not a desirable character. No chunky, fleshy bits means no gore. That will never fly in Mortal Kombat. Does the liquid metal man have organs? Why doesn't he just enter liquid form to absorb every blow? Why doesn't he just drown his opponent? These are the tip of the iceberg in regards to why Khrome is a bad idea. A liquid metal character doesn't work with this franchise.

Except they don't take fanmade characters.

So no, the developers wouldn't give anything to your dumb project.

I believe it was also established that there are legal issues with both the names Chrome and Khrome.

Intellectual Property- Institutional Affiliation
According to Copyright Act of 1976 a copyright is established when an original work has been composed, written as well as created and fixed to a tangible medium such as hard drive, film or a paper, canvas (McJohn,2009). Based on this, we can say that a company like Warner Bros can use fans ideas on characters if fans agree to give all rights to them and not sue them for using their ideas and intellectual property. There are more than a few things that can explain why the company has the right to take a fan’s idea and use it as a character. For instance; based on US Constitution Article 1 it is apparent that the fans do not have patent rights and therefore; they cannot sue the company for using their ideas as well as intellectual property (Seville, 2009).

An idea cannot be recognized or amount to anything until put into test and authenticated (McJohn, 2009). Based on this, we can say without an iota of doubt that a company like Warner Bros can use fans ideas on characters if fans agree to give all rights to them and not sue them for using their ideas and intellectual property. For example, it is normal and the culture of every author or creator of a movie to have copyright of their work which one can find in the copyright page. It is normally well written all rights reserved which means those certain substantial rights are highly reserved for the copyright owner and therefore; borrowing ideas or concepts from such works can lead to a long court battle (Seville, 2009). On the contrary, what we are talking about here is a mere idea that has no proved and that no patent rights and recognition which justifies why a company like Warner Bros can take fans ideas for a character (McJohn, 2009).

Poor lost little soul. Chalked up in the obsession of getting a fan made character into Mortal Kombat. Spending every waking moment of their life trying to persuade young minds into thinking this is the single greatest character ever to be imagined. Hardly anyone finds it interesting, and plenty of people have shot down the idea of having the character be created. Even the developers, who were asked about him shot the idea down immediately.

But because the so-called "creator" has an unhealthy obsession for the character by trolling the internet thinking they're some top-shit person because they have a "clever" idea (I use clever loosely, mind you), we're constantly having this dumb thing shoved in our faces.

As I have "creeped" forum to forum and noticed the cretin pestering nearly everyone that are on these forums, I am surprised not a single forum had the decency to ban his IP address. If I was in charge, I'd ban the address. I would continue doing so per computer/laptop the poor soul has.

That way, at least one forum will be cleansed and no one has to be pestered anymore.

TL:DR, Khrome sucks.

Except they know better. They don't want to put your ideas in their game. You're not the first person and definitely not the last person to want a fan made character in their game.

And I certainly hope your emails to them goes to their junk mail, so they know not to continue giving you the light of day in their offices. Because you give me the impression that you constantly email them your so-called "clever" ideas every day, bugging them, thinking that is the way to win them over.

Here's a little tip for you; Constantly pestering people isn't a way to win the heart.

Ed Boon saying "Not that we hate him, or don't wanna do it, but I barely know who Chrome is. I've seen a number of people's illustration on him, but I don't know his backstory". So not having a backstory is what's preventing him being made a true character.

The fans want to see it happen, and the co-creator of the franchise sees the potential here, and is asking his questions just as rhetorically as the community is. It is perfectly reasonable to believe Mr. Boon knows the answers to his questions will make Chrome's inclusion in the Mortal Kombat Universe more likely.

What fans? You mean "fan," singular. Not plural. I have yet to see anyone anywhere be a fan of this stupid thing. And I love the obsession you have with this. You truly believe the creators actually want this? They don't. I can already assure you, they don't want this thing in their game. Keep dreaming, hun.

You really want me to believe this?

Do you just spend your entire day on the computer, wasting your life away to just make people be on your side and pass along this? I mean, you're really "convincing" me. Showing me that not only does it appear you have an IQ of a rock, but you're also capable of pretending to be multiple people to make others appear that people have your back.

It's certainly not working, and I am very glad that not too many people really like you. The fact that you posted this crap on a support group for those suffering with social anxiety tells me that you're just an ignorant lunatic who's got nothing better to do other than bothering people who really just want to talk about Mortal Kombat.

I'm doing something good because Ed Boon and Evan Salas don't hate Chrome and I'll continue doing so until NRS say they won't ever do it. At least Ed Boon is curious about his backstory and Ed Boon knows best.
