Would it matter? The tweet was to Boon and is hinting at MKX.

I think it would. Even if it was inferred, the word MKX was never directly used. Therefore, Ed could say whatever he wanted to, which is why he said what he did.

The guy died via stripper boot heel in the throat it would be pretty bad if that`s how the legend of Jax ended.

Then again everyone in that game had a pretty embarrassing death minus Jade and Nightwolf and Kung Lao.

Jax should be retconned into a white dude.

I remember when the Jade render for MK9 was released, and when we Jade fans complained about her rather light skin, people said it didn't matter.

Let's see if they think the same if it happened to Jax.
