Having an opinion on a character is one thing, and I respect that. Continuoulsy
spamming hate comments and other bullsh*t about him/her every time someone mentions him/her is another. Like for example, I really hate Sonya and Kano. But do I post hate comments about them? No.

I'd like Jax to be absent from MKX, Khrome could do cooler things with his arms.

Personally, I don't like prioritizing a character because they represent a particular ethnicity or gender or interest group. Creative is the highest priority. I think the whole notion of quotas is condescending, clumsy and counter-productive. You have to respect your audience and try to meet their interests as best you can. Being interested in the audience can certainly help the creative process, but there's an important factor to remember that renders all of this type of speculation moot - Jax is awesome!

Jax doesn't need to be included to fill an arbitrary quota. He's a unique, iconic franchise icon! He had one of his best designs introduced in the last game! He's got a stand-out play style. If the new game is kicking the doors down to get around MK2011's deaths -- Jax should be up for consideration. No questions asked! Ridiculous to think otherwise.

Calling a character useless is barely a hate comment. I simply agreed with the poster and replied to him. It's not as if I replied and attacked anyone who do want Jax in. If you want him in- great. *shrug* But If you don't want to read my comments on Jax- then skip over my posts as I said.

As for the thread, I don't know if I am supposed to take this seriously. This is just wrong in so many ways. Jax is not the only black character in the game. We got Cyrax, Darrius, Kai, Jade, and even if we didn't, that wouldn't make it racist! And I don't wanna hear stuff like "They are not from Africa". They are black! Regardless if they are from Earthrealm, Seido or Edenia, they have dark skin.

Well Tanya is a cool character and has potential and all, but she's not in the same stratosphere as Jade.

And by black characters, are we talking about those of African descent? If so, can we exclude the ones that aren't from Earth in the discussion. They're not 'black', they obviously do have different races in Edenia and other realms but we have no confirmation on what they are.
