Is it possible Tremor was decided on very recently following that petition, and the Tweeted DLCs were the original plan (which may still come to be)?

It's possible but I doubt it. DLC is usually something that is planned well in advance (Himmerick said something about taking 9+ months to make a character on one of the Twitch streams?). Assuming they didn't cave to some stupid petition that means obviously he's been in the plans which is astonishing to think about. NRS was willing to literally go dumpster diving into one of the worst games ever made to fish out an obscure, bit part character nobody seemed to give a fuck about until a couple months ago.

Many people (including myself) got on NRS for going the safe path on characters but...Tremor is a ballsy move. Kudos on making a risky/sketchy roster choice.

Takes them roughly 6-8 weeks to build a character from start to finish. Check the MK9 art book. Says so right in it in the character design section. Granted it might be different in console generations, but I doubt it's much.

No, Boon said months ago to "define 'new'" when asked about there being any new ninjas in MKX. It's pretty obvious he was talking about Tremor. He'd have been planned for a while. They also kind of would have needed to know who was actually going in the Kombat Pack when they first announced it.

I'm not surprised if they're backtracking on some of the things from the comics. Especially with Scorpion. They've already done that before.

Interesting. It's a shame if this is the final roster, I was hoping for a couple of surprises.

Jade not even having a cameo confuses me though. All the other revenants are there, and she was a revenant at the end of MK9. If this is true then she's going to get an off screen disappearance/death which sucks.

Also of note besides Tremor is that If He were to be ignoring DLC Costumes and posting what's already in the game well then Quan-Chi, Kung Lao, Jax, Liu Kang, Sonya and Kanos Klassiks being DLC disprove that too.

And then there's subject of the SF Practice Stage. Do People honestly think that's not going to be in as a stage? It's a perfect stage for the Evo crowd who don't like Interactables/No Background Distraction.

One of the arenas in the Kombat kast ( names scrolled in practice mode) was called Jinseis chamber. That's not on this list

No MK2011 Sub-Zero costume? No Noob Saibot reference at all except from dialog between Sub-Zero and Quan Chi Hmm...

Well I think it was confirmed bogus after that stream. They got majority of the names wrong on the stages. Like Training room...number one. Quan Chi's Fortress. Jinsei Chamber. Empeors Courtyard. If this was actually true they would of gotten the names right and they didn't even spell Krossroads right. It is with a K not a C.

To be completely fair;

1) The training room could've been added just to show it off for that stream. Since the Dojo wasn't an arena in MK9, I find it hard to believe it would be playable as well in MKX (especially considering the holograms).

2) We have no idea when this dude's "source" played the game or saw the game or whatever considering on the Kombatkast's we've seen that The Kove was originally The Cove, Dead Woods was originally Snow Forest, Krossroads was originally Crossroads, so it's completely feasable that Emperor's Courtyard was originally Outworld Construction, Quan Chi's Fortress was originally Quan Chi's Quarters and Jinsei Chamber was originally Sky Temple (because thanks to the outline of Chapter 1 Story Mode, we know that's where the Jinsei is located). On that note, he did correctly call Lin Kuei Temple as an arena name.

3) He correctly called Kano having his klassic outfit (the MK3 one we saw in the stream)

4) He correctly called Bo' Rai Cho having a cameo.

5) His bio's stated Kotal Kahn was the last of the Osh-Tekk.

Now, with all that said, it's completely possible this guy is talking out of his ass and coincidentally correctly guessing some of this stuff (which is what I believe he's doing).....but the fact remains, he HAS gotten some stuff correct so I could be wrong.

He seems fairly confident that he his correct. Although he thought Kang was the unlockable. I'm sure though it's entirely possible that NRS have changed that in development
