If the rest of the roster was secret, would you buy?

If Neatherrealm Studios came out today and said that's it, no more character reveals until the game is released, would you still buy Mortal Kombat 10?

Would you enjoy being surprised about so many roster spots and having to wait until you actually have the game?

I personally would love it.

And I think the segment of the fan base that say they wouldn't buy it probably would, and the stubborn ones would find out that day and go buy it anyway.

There is something to be said for jaw dropping and surprise instead of knowing all the details ahead of time.

While i love seeing the reveals and getting excited while waiting for the game to come out...

I would love to have so many surprises on launch day. i will definitely be buying it either way, though i know they will reveal everything before hand, and i won't be able to resist watching every reveal... still the surprise and unknown factor would be great if they went that route, i miss the days of secrets...

That would be pretty awesome!

The only thing that stops me from pre-ordering right now is online mode. I will eventually pre-order it but I will hesitate when it comes to activating the game so if online turns out to be crap I will just sell my copy.
I did not like buying Deception and my reactions being: "Oh hey There's Tanya.. Who's this Darrius guy? Who are these Kano and Sonya clones? What did they do to the Dairou concept? They ruined it."

I guess I'd hold off on buying until the spoilers come in.

I can't play it anyway, but as for the fanbase in general: no way, Jose.

You saw the immense butthurt over something as ordinary as a character getting torched in the comic that the writer had to resort to damage control on Twitter afterward.
Therefore, imagine how they'll react if they bought the game and found out Mileena for example was left out. There'd be a riot.

I'd be totally fine with not knowing any characters in the game(i know im the minority in that)

I just think unlocking charcters in the game is one of the best things about fighting games. the "oh shit (s)hes in" moment

As soon as Scorpion finished SubZero in that reveal trailer I was buying.

Matter fact, as soon as I saw the new MK Dragon logo with the #whosnext I was buying. It's an MK game no questions asked.

I paid in full after the announcement trailer. What we have seen so far is awesome. Everything else will as well!!!
