No, I don't care for alternative costumes; vintage backgrounds and stage fatalities only matter to me.

Yes, i'd like to see loads of costumes but as unlockables. DLC can suck it.

Alt costumes are fine. But anyone who still wants MK1-3 classic costumes after MK9 seriously needs their head checked.

UMK3 Reptile if and only if his MKX design doesn't touch on his more human appearances, MK2 Shang, and MK1 Raiden. Those are the only Trilogy era costumes I'm hoping to see.

But I won't be disappointed if they don't do classic costumes.

I'm not concerned about the quantity of alts, so much as I am about their distribution. A few characters in Injustice got around, what, 10 additional outfits? While Killer Frost and Sinestro only got 1 each?

Give me a more even spread of alts in MKX, and I'll be happy. :)

Yeah im hoping for a lot of alts too, I don't mind classic skins returning again either, but id like some new alts as well.

As long as we get to see undead alts in this game I would be happy. Also I will be super hyped for this game.

I love MK but I know not to get my hopes up for Alts. I would love this to be the game that changes that. I do like the little items that differentiate the fighting variations.

In my own dream world we would have custom character costumes. Something more expansive than Killer Instinct but more focused than Soul Calibur or Tekken. I.E. I'm sure the Lin Kuei have plenty of "Uniforms" to choose from, why just have one?

Come to think of it, a police uniform for Cassie wouldn't be bad at all, knowing she was in the Police Force prior to joining the Special Forces.

Tazer well what's wrong with normal clothes. Johnny has a suit. I mean games like Tekken and DOA have it and MK had gotton silly. He'll MK2011 had Babalilites back. Cassie could wear plain clothes or workout close with her last name on it like in the comic.

The thing I didn't get about people who were fapping over the klassic outfit pack is that the outfits they had in the storyline WAS their klassic outfit. It's what they would have looked like if the mk team had a better budget and higher bits. Could you imagine how silly Leon Kennedy would look if fans demanded his "classic" RE2 outfit instead of the upgraded alt he had in RE4?

The only one I liked was Kuai Liang's because of the face reveal. *coughanddatasscough*

I would like fresh new alts and maybe a few from the 3d era since the first part of the game is going over the 3d era after all. I don't mind a couple of sexy outfits for both genders as long as they don't overdo it. Something funny would be kool too. You guys remember Samanotsuke's panda outfit? Something like that would be halarious on the so serious Scorpion.

The artists who designed the costumes in MK9 were not apart of the original team, nor did they create these characters. Saying that these were what Tobias, who did design them, intended is ridiculous.

That is not exactly what I meant. Mk9 is basically the remake of mk1-3. They have a higher budget and way more to work with. Everything from the music and the stages were revamped but it is technically the same thing we had in the past. They were very limited with what they could do. I strongly doubt mk1-3 would look the way it did if they had the same resources they had today.

If they do the sky outfits look, I really do hope that they give us a good deal of content on disc and not primary and alt followed by "hey buy these ten costume packs for five dollars each!" Its my own fault for being such a completionist but still. I don't mind paying for extra content, but there has to be a balance.

Speaking of which, as has been said about Injustice (and MK9 for that matter), I hope the alts are more balanced this time around. No more five alts for Scorpion and two for Baraka plz.
