I'm not crazy about costumes. 1-2 is fine for me. Additional costumes would be nice, but with the variations having to have visual aids, I don't see us getting a ton of costumes.

DLC skins are all but guaranteed. They make money, plain and simple. And Injustice had a ton so Im sure MKX wont slouch. Many Injustice characters actually shipped with 3 or more skins PLUS dlc.

With NRS current level of support and resouces this game will have a lot of DLC. Expect it.

Regarding the actual skins, consoles never actually recieved the UMK3 skins for the male ninjas. Id love to see those available at some point for MKX. The fact is any of those classic skins will always sell, so don't be surprised when they become available. I know I'll be buying them.

The primary and alts were original. DLC was primarily from comics and movies.

The more unlockable content there is, the better in my eyes. I don't need more than an alt but I'd never turn down playable unlockables.

I really hope Scorp and sub get there maskless costumes from the comics. They were awesome.

Alts are far from incompatible. Just like in MK9 where Scorp got his swords on his back in the classic costumes, the devs can just add what they need to here and there. Although a lot of variations are depicted with a simple color change like Kano's and Kotal's. Its really not that big a deal.

I just really want Shred-Zero.

I'd love Scorpion's, Raiden's, and Baraka's MKD outfits too. But they'd just be bonuses. Mainly Shred-Zero.

UMK3 Reptile would be great as well. Probably one of the only Trilogy era costumes I'd want. I have a feeling his variations might touch on MKDA, and MK4.

You're right, it shouldn't, as long as some hint of the used variation is clearly visible to the opposing player there should be no issues.

Always loved it, it had this weird sci-fi vibe about it lol. It was definitely one of the many interesting unique looks I've seen in the series. I prefer it to his MKD look.

I would love to see 1 or 2 alts that matters to the story (that appears on Story Mode. Not just one obligated like in MK2011, but all the ones that a character needs).

For DLCs, I would love to see alt. costumes that spawns from everything except renewed from previous games.

For Example, In MK2011 I would have love to see Liu Kang on his ending costume, and thinks like that. Maybe costumes that shows the early life (or common life) of the characters. Like Liu kang fisherman or Jax in training uniform.

Injustice has the lucky of having a lot of different subjects from where to take examples (others universes, etc). MK needs to create they're own originals alts, and NOT keep bringing the same olds costumes.

But those spinal shoulder straps.

Haha, his Deception looks is still kick-ass! Actually, my top 3 favorite Baraka looks are-

1) MKG
2) MKD
3) MK9 Alt

I want multiple costumes, fatalities, and battle chatter before during and after the match.

I liked the MKG one as well, just not as much as his MKD look. But those metal strap surgery bars were nice little detail!

I hope there's classic costumes, like if Shinnok or Fujin makes it in I definitely want them both to get an MK4 alt. I'm fine with returning costumes as well, but I do want to see some new alts for all characters, not just the popular ones.

I kinda agree with this and can for sure see things going this way. That said, so far have all the variations we've seen just had color differences and like weapons added? I can't remember off the top of my head. If this is the case tho it wouldn't be too much trouble to just keep the variation colors consistent with all the different alts I'd think.

Yes I want a ton of alternate outfits per character. Way more then mk2011 or injustice. I wouldn't mind classic outfits but I'd like new ones more. But no unmasked crap faces like in MK 2015 lol. The female ninja faces on jade and kitana were bad. In game or DLC I don't care I'd get them all just like last game.

IF they go with several alternates, I want to see some of the Netherealm characters in demon form. I know it'd never happen because of the size scales and stuff but it'd be cool never-the-less.

I've never been that bothered about alternates tbh.

I particularly hate DLC costume packs that have been in other games where u end up with one character u like/use having their costume in with a bunch io others u don't want/use.

I'd much rather they were unlockable in some way. Or available singly or in character specific packs.

I think its inevitable that Scorpion and Sub Zero will get their classic MK1-MK3 era costume(s) but I'm kind hoping the others don't. I'd much rather they focussed on MK4-MKDA. I'd love to see the likes of MKDA Kitana, Shang Tsung, Sub Zero, Kung Lao. MKG Mileena, Baraka, MKD Scorpion, BoRaiCho etc.

I think there's gonna be a lot, but I hope they remember the new characters as well and all characters this time.

It'll be interesting to see how alts work with the variations.
