Human Sub is back! But who is it?

While this may seem to be preemptive in speculation, his eyes lit up briefly before he got a kunai through the skull (and dimmed after his head got a sword through it); he looks undead in that manner.
Only time will tell, but he looks like Kuai.
Edit: The odd thing is, though, that he sounds way more like Bi-Han. Also, he has shuriken on his uniform, which also causes me to think, now, that this Sub-Zero is Bi-Han. (If only the devs/modelers could keep the characters' appearances straight.)
P.S. Someone should make a gif of Scorpion dodging Subz's flying severed head.
Indeed!
My only qualm with this is that his eyes didn't start the whole glowing business until he picked up the Dragon Medallion, which then caused his eyes to turn pure white in Deception/Armageddon. Subz's eyes generally are either normal or the irises glow a bit. (They were normal in MK9.)
His eyes turn pure white in the video, which generally hints toward being undead.
Again, this could be overthinking, but it's fun overthinking.

Indeed!

True dat... And I really want to know if the feud between Scorpion and him will go restart or it was just for the trailer.
But if he is revived... Kuai Lang or Bi Han.

Probably Kuai Lang.
Noob Saibot is a product of Quan Chi's sorcery, that's most likely going to remain.
At this point can't really tell. Although most likely it's either Kuai Liang or Bi Han. Most likely Kuai Liang imo. Sub-Zero did have glowing eyes but his alternate in MKDA had glowing eyes last I remember and even renders or concept arts depict Sub-Zero in various games with blue glowing eyes so I don't know how much that means anything.

And Kuai's real body is a bin

But, Kuai has yet to receive that scar in this new timeline, to our knowledge... Some people theorize that the whole cyborg-ization will give him one, though. Who knows?
He only got it (for nostalgia's sake) in his pseudo MK3 costume.

How could I have missed that?

Um. I'm pretty sure he got his scar last game.

Indeed Lol
Still trying to figure out why his eyes flickered shortly after?
Either way it is WAY TOO early to speculate...

No, he didn't. There were complaints from fans about his complete lack of a scar in the game.
When he's taken away from the coliseum he doesn't have one; thereafter, he turns into a cyborg and we don't ever see his face again.
Tell me when he got it.
Edit:
jack4813 Wrote: Mkay mkay, makes sense. I guess it's just been so long I forgot.
I supposed not getting it last game is better than getting it from Kung Lao carelessly throwing his hat at Sub's face.
I forget stuff from the last game, too. I supposed not getting it last game is better than getting it from Kung Lao carelessly throwing his hat at Sub's face.
And I wholeheartedly agree with you on the Kung Lao hat scene being absent.

I had hoped for a Cyber Subbie. Hopefully he will have it as an alt costume or an unlockable character, like in MK9.

Well then, that settles it. My bet is Shinnok and co. are still firmly in control of MK9's dead, and the Stargate portal is from them sending them out to make mincemeat out of the survivors. Sub-Zero's soul was restored to its body in order to make it possible to resurrect him for whatever reason.
The infection has been removed and CSZ is a thing of the past. :D
They'll probably retcon the car into having happened with no explanation to restore his iconic look.
Also, calling it now. Repeated story mode fights against the dead who keep coming back through portals.

IT BETTER BE KUAI LIANG!

I believe its Kuai Liang.
Why would this be Bi Han? He's Noob Saibot! What, the Soulnado is some random time portal as well that managed to change him back into Bi Han? Then what happens to Noob? Gone from existence? Thats's crap! Granted that we have no idea what happened to Noob, turning him back into Sub-Zero and completely ditching Kuai Liang to make Bi Han's Sub-Zero return doesn't make sense at all!
I'm going to safely assume it's this: Different Variations
I mean if this is being mentioned, then it makes complete sense as to why Sub-Zero is human again. I really doubt they would make Noob Saibot be Sub-Zero if there's variations. (That is if Noob is even in the game)
