Yeah, making him go full on aligator mode wasn't the best decision. I still think Reptile's best look was his MK4 look. He looked more humanoid snake-like there, and I loved that. Especially when in his bio, he opened his mouth up wide to show his fangs.

MK4 Reptile is my fav too. Minus the purple pants.

About the V-Vest, I'm hoping NRS will come up with a way to explain it's significance. Like it is tradition of the tournament or something. Besides the ninjas- raiden, shang, fujin, and Reiko have rocked it before too

Come on dude, maybe they were clones in the old days, but even then they had there original moves, and honestly there are no clones anymore. Every ninja has made his own unique development :)

Quoted for truth. Rain's concept art was amazing. I am still buffled why they went with the most ninja-ish look eventually. I hope they decide to bring some of those designs to life in MKX tho ^^

Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Ermac, and Reptile. Maybe Rain for DLC again but honestly I think 4 is a good number.

I actually like Reptile's MK4 look overall. It's just the costume itself wasn't that interesting. It's his MK 2011 look that I don't care for.

I will stick to my love of MKDA Lizardman Reptile until my dying day. If anything, I'm not too crazy about the MK4 design, but it works. Shaolin Monks is probably my preferred look for him to date, but I never outright hate anything they come up with for him.

I'd prefer they keep MK9 reptile with a new costume, to keep it consistent. If it were up to me, I'd forget about the de-evolution aspect of his story in this timeline...I also thought dino Reptile was pretty terrible.

Ermac has to look like a badass assassin, not a damn scarecrow. His MK9 alternative was perfect, they should keep it that way.

Well you're not missing much, it's typical a Human Reptile design with some snakes drawn on the V-top and I think his mask is supposed to have a molded mouth like in the movie. Personally, I always thought the stone mouth-mask looked dumb, because it makes it look like the guy wearing it is making a funny face.
