I'm hoping at least for a small detail on the story.

Since we already have heard about the rise and fall of Kotal, I'd like to know a little bit more about how other characters might play into this whole business.

Though there's no solid proof, I've had a theory one of the yet to be revealed newcomers will be Kotal's equivalent of Ermac. If ya get what I'm going for there. Not a fusion of souls but someone that's basically his trusted enforcer. One of the more powerful characters. Maybe that's D'Vorah's role, but something tells me no.

Reptile needs to be in, I'm really sick of seeing him get shafted by the franchise, in both an in-universe and developmental sense.

I'm also sick of feeling left out of my favorite series because my favorites keep getting left out.

Isn't it possible for them to come back to life? MKX still continues where MK9 left off so Raiden and his new forces very well can save them at the end of that arc.

Keypoints:
- Most of the story will take place in the far future, but they will jump back and forth between points in time.
- Descendants will interact with their elder relatives.
- Mentions Rain as DLC in MK9, and thus he will not make it in as they are trying to make as much new things as possible.
- Would love to make an MK vs Street Fighter game, if Capcom would allow it to be M-rated, but there are no VS games in the scope at the moment.
- They are re-instating an -ality, followed up by showing Kitana's Animality on Sheeva from UMK3, which of course suggests it will be an Animality, however, Boon says he is not allowed to talk about what -ality it is... yet.

I was pulling for his inclusion just to mix things up a bit. I am really curious though if animalities will indeed return.

So Rain is confirmed to be sitting this one out, and Animalities are pretty much confirmed to be in.

Really sucks that Rain won't be making the cut since they did such an awesome job with him in MK9, but I'm pretty excited about getting some next-gen Animalities. Edit: I should say Animalities were just strongly hinted at, not really confirmed.
Not excited for Animalities. I dislike Rain, so his exclusion won't break my heart in the least. Various Sonya and Johnny hints.

Cool, I guess.

Ality can also mean "Brutalities." Hell, it could mean Friendships. I doubt Ed was using his word choice to include only finishers with "ality" in the name.

Next-gen Animalities would be very interesting to see. It sucks that Rain didn't make the cut, but I guess I expected that to happen. No DLC at least though? Damn Boon.
