I just hope that is in fact Baraka and he's in, he's so unique and if he can make it in freaking MKvs.DC, he should make it in the supposedly grittier MK freaking X!! He's the perfect general to lead the Tartakans and maybe others in service of Mileena. Who else would have that role?

Of course Baraka is playable, I can't believe you guys are doubting it lol. Look how detailed he is, that's apparently a shot of him right before the match starts, don't you guys see it? He's definitely in and playable.

Hey Minion, did you notice that Shinnok looks different in that screenshot where he's jumping over the statue than his story mode appearance? the one in the screenshot is probably his primary outfit since it's on the tower. His hat looks a little different and his arms are bare, whereas his other one has his arms completely covered and jewels everywhere.

This one here? What scene was that in? His eyes aren't green, but they're brighter than others' in this one shot for some reason, and his skin really is a few shades deeper than most other folks, enough to be noticeable. Doesn't mean he's not human, but people understandably picked up on it.

Not that it's important anyway, white Reptile means I can't take coloration in this series as seriously as I'd like.

Also, that looks like a random tarkatan grunt to me; not as well defined as Baraka normally is, and a little scrawny.

I think the extremely poor quality of the pic you posted really makes him look more inhuman than he actually is.

I understand being cautious but people are being downright moronic.

They could leak a video of gameplay and you'd still have some dolt screaming Not confirmed!!!

If he's not playable, I rather this be a freaking goon, even though he looks very detailed and I love the look! Not overly done like Deception, not too bland like MK9..the blades coming out of his cheeks is new and a great touch!

I see no reason for him not to be in at this point, with him allying with Mileena and leading the Tarkatan. They are involved in the story, Ferra / Torr were roaming the Tarkatan Wastelands and with this gritty style Baraka should've been a lock.

Oh well, there's always MK11 when they will probably kill off the old farts and maybe have a spot for guys not playable in this one.

I'll review my issues when I get home, but I do remember looking at it in print form in person, one of the earlier issues, and wondering what the hell was up with his eyes. Good looking out on finding the shot.
