It's a rare thing when a company's DLC practices satisfy everyone. And remember; WB operate in tandem with NRS, one of the users (xysion, was it? Can't remember the name exactly) brought up a good point; WB have a say in how things are run, too. Whatever bad business decisions are made, if any, can't be laid squarely at NRS' feet.

I steadfastly refuse to hype myself up over any character's inclusion before I know what capacity they're in for sure, and I also find it suspicious that a brand new character we've known about for months now and gone collectively cray cray over doesn't get any snippets of gameplay time next to three other new figures. Maybe they're preparing his own trailer. That'd be nice.

Expect the worst, hope for the best, that's my philosophy, is all. I'll be happy to see him make the main roster if that's the case, but if it isn't, I won't be shedding any tears. Not forcing my viewpoint down anyone's throat.

I really dont want to get my hopes up too much. It does seem that he will be playable one way or another, but who knows. There's SO many characters that could be in this game. Johnny, Sonya, Shinnok, Fujin, Reiko, Kenshi, etc could very well beat Erron out. They cant all be included.

I'm not a huge fan of the game model. He looked cooler in the comic with the ammo all over him. He lost the western feel but I guess everyone looks better in the comic art lol.. I'm hyped anyways, he's playable for sure.

Now that Takeda, Jaquie, and Kung Jin are confirmed, and Mileena being practically included in that list, the rest of the roster is coming down to a slugfest for space. Not that we know how many spots are left on the roster, however. It could be 24, 26, or more. Still you have characters like Shinnok, Sonya, Johnny, Liu, Reiko, etc. all being viable candidates along with Erron Black.

I too think he'll be in, based on the facts that he's a new and already well-received character, plus he fills a playstyle that isn't currently represented in MKX. I think he could be a solid character to push MK in some fun new directions. Plus, dat poncho!

Well... On the one hand we get to see Goro. On the other, we know Kung Jin, Takeda, and Jacqui are playable. We can lump Mileena in there too. So if they didn't update the character select that would be such a cocktease.

I had a similar thought, haha. If Shinnok were to be a story-unlockable and not available out of the box, they might not have him on the select screen. They'd just have the four most obvious reveals (Jacqui, Takeda, KJ, Mileena) and leave us exactly where we are wondering who the hell the fifth person is.

I'd be very surprised if he isn't playable. But to be honest I'm not feeling the love. For me he looks a bit out of place and I don't get the hype and love he's getting.
