I'd be down for Ermac, him and Reptile are the only two classic "ninjas" I want back other than Noob. Noob or Ermac, I don't mind either, both cool in my book.

Ermac is a lock-in, IMO.

I'd love to have him back, so many different ways his story could go, not to mention his move set potential with the three variations.
One of my favorite scenes in the MK9 story mode was when Ermac came floating down the escalator in to the subway to fight Stryker. Still gives me chills when I see it.

If Shang is in or not, Ermac should attain the soul steal fatality. That would suit him greatly and be sick as hell! Look back early on in the making of MK9 and you'll see what I mean.

After seeing Raiden's reveal trailer I am convinced that NRS will not disappoint with Ermac's gameplay if he is in. They are perfecting the job of incorporating a characters abilitys in their button combos. (Not special attacks).
What I mean by this is, raiden does not need to have a [down toward button] special attack to use lightning. NRS has made it so that he uses lightning even if you string a button combo together which we saw in mk9 but now we are seeing much more in mkx. It doesn't change anything about the fight but it adds immersive visuals (much better than just punching and kicking with lightning electrocution special atks thrown in sporadically). I think it is amazing.
Now imagine Ermac? We saw some button combos that showed off ermacs telekinesis powers in mk9. In mkx they can (and I believe will) make Ermac one of the most intriguing characters to watch fight.

My only real complaint about Ermac is that he has a move that I have almost never seen in a fighting game. Practically instant and covers more than 50% of the screen in most cases and it's almost safe.
BF1, of all moves in MK9, really pisses me off competitively.
As for the character? I love Ermac. I would love to see him in. But he just poses a lot of potential for trouble with balancing. I just hope NRS pays attention.

You know, ever since the reveal of the variations I've been trying to figure out what some of these characters might have for theirs. (I'm sure I'm not the only one)
Ermac could have maybe telekinesis, magic, and I guess use the souls for moves? But then that's another using creatures for their moves since you have Scorpion and his demons.
But I would like to see him come back. He is another favorite of mine.

I have to agree with Temp. Ermac is a lock. And he deserves to be.
They do need to be careful about making sure he isn't over powered though. We don't want this game to have the sort of balancing issues MK3 did...

I don't know about all three variations but it would be cool if one of them was based on the Jerrod part of him.
EDIT: Maybe they could even call it, "King Of Edenia"?

Naturally!
Although if he ends up being good, I'd like to see him sporting more of an "Earthrealm" attire, instead of the Outworld ninja garb. I'm thinking MKD alt but a bit subtler.
On that note, I might have to do a concept sketch of this!

I agree with this. Ed Boon said in an E3 interview that he wants MKX to be a "Grand Spectacle" of a game. Ermac would definitely help achieve this

What is this move?
And what exactly is "BF1," anyway? I even searched it on Google (I'm pathetic) but that was no help.

I think it might be his telekinetic push...?

OK, thanks. I was looking at a thread on TYM tonight and the characters' specials were described the same way. I swear, it was like reading a foreign language. Definitely not the MK I grew up with.

Yes all this extreme powerfull intro, only to get beaten by the most powerless character ever. That was a true anti-climax.
