To me, the pumpkin says Halloween, which means Michael Myers. The fact that they're having the stream on Friday the 13th plus Ed's tweets about "pumpkin" and Jason X and all that tells me it's both guest DLC characters, Michael Myers and Jason and I couldn't be less excited.

Look, if you're a huge fan of them, then I'm happy for you. Really, I am. Zero sarcasm intended. This is your moment, and it's really cool that you got what you wanted. They can't please everyone and I realize and accept that fact.

So I'm not trying to be anyone's wet blanket or ruin anyone's good time. But in just stating my own opinion, I never liked them (or Freddy for that matter). So to have horror icons two games in a row feels a bit weak to me, eapecially when there are so many cool video game characters that could guest. These are two characters I'll likely (though I wouldn't say definitely) never use.

But that's just me. That's my sour grapes and bad luck and what not. To everyone else, I truly and sincerely hope that you enjoy them and that they both live up to your expectations. grin

Didn't you predict they would reveal him this exact same way? lol. Anyways congratz for people who like Jason. I was still hoping we would see him being revealed by killing people having sex. Meh... Guess I can't always get what I want.

You can call it being a "wet blanket", exaggerate it, over dramatize what people are doing when they say "wait 'til it's confirmed before celebrating", or put any unnecessary sassy underlying insult to it you'd like, but if the person has a history of flipping balls and giving the biggest emotional breakdowns when something doesn't go their way...that's why people do that, including myself. If I know someone has a history of flying off the handle and losing all emotional control, lashing out at everyone when contradicting news comes in that upsets them...it's the nice thing to do by trying to calm that fire a tad. Why you seem to take that as someone stifling your fun, excitement, or ability to speculate...is beyond me. It's just over exaggerating the truth.

If your friend got a call, and the person on the phone said "Congratulations! You've won $50,000!" and your friend immediately starts celebrating like a madman and buying shit left and right...when nothing has been proven...if you wouldn't step in and try and insert the possibility of "hey, what if it's not real? What if things aren't as they seem, we should probably dial it back a little 'til we know for sure". On the flip side, if your friend is super pissed about something, lashing out everywhere, are you not going to step in and say "hey man, it'll be alright, in the grand scheme of things is this really worth all this anger and rage?" Then you're simply an enabler. But no, we should let that friend just feel the way they feel right? Sometimes it takes an outside perspective to bring an un-biased take on the matter, or bring new things to consider to the table, that may help.

Hell, I saw you go into the Johnny Cage thread earlier and say they were being to "show offy" about their favorite character's inclusion:
"Very happy for The Cage Family fans, even if some of them are being a bit over the top and "show-offy" about it. "

Meanwhile, you're preaching "let people speak!". Not to mention your own "show offy" "over the top" comments such as "Surprise Bitches" "Rain will be in 100%", and "you'll look like an asshat in about a month", while leaving replies to anything not sharing the exact same conclusion jumping excitement, in a very sassy middle school girl like manner.

The mental gymnastics...who is really escalating things in all of these scenarios?

Good catch on the big big thing, could definitely mean it's another reveal during the stream. First big as in big character = Jason, second big as in the big bad? Goro gameplay footage maybe??

On second thought, probably not, since Boon said specifically MK related. A bit disappointing since Jason reveal was coming and it was not that big.

could be a version of Shinnok. now he has been confirmed from the Kombat pass costume reveal.

but i hope to be surprised with Havik or Reiko as in the Komics they are badass!! :)
