I think they could still make the intros with him against other characters work, Jason doesn't need to talk, his body language/movement is enough IMO (Same with Mikey)

Ah I hope they kind of make him move the way he did when Hodder portrayed him. I'm also thinking this Jason might be more based on Derek Mears portrayal of the character in the looks department, but still a composite version of the character like they did with Freddy. Assuming he is in of coarse lol

Been a huge Jason fan since I was a kid. He was always my favorite out of the Unholy Trinity of Horror(Jason, Freddy and Michael).

With that tweet taken into consideration it'll be more of a BIG let-down if Jason being one of the guests isn't the BIG announcement. I don't think Boon would go with giving a middle finger to people who want & (now) expect Jason.

Question is will we be seeing more than just Jason being part of the BIG announcement? I'm not sold on the idea of one guest character announcement being BIG news on its own. But whatever announcement we get is cool by me, I'm already happy with what we've seen & got the game pre-ordered. You could be onto something there. Pumpkin of the MK logo, or the focus on a dragon, which is a symbol used by Liu Kang... Jason being announced as one of the guests & Liu Kang being revealed? Roll on tomorrow's announcement & stream, hype is back at full-steam!

It's definitely something that has nothing to do with Jason or Mike Myers. This is the same Ed Boon that tweeted a cage before the story trailer like 2 weeks ago. Why would he suddenly start being straight forward with us?
