Well looking at the MK roster, only judging by MK9's, there's not many people that could have a descendant.
I don't want Liu of Kitana's of course, because it wasn't possible, i'm saying Nightwolf, Kano, Jax, Stryker are some of the old ones I could imagine possibly having kids somewhere. It is possible for Cyrax, Sektor, Jade, Kung Lao, but I don't see it.
If Jade did have a kid, it would slightly known, they couldn't just throw them into the mix out of nowhere. She's thousands of years old. I'm thinking of plausible ones by people with a normal lifespan. Kung Lao, possibly. I actually wouldn't mind that. He could have the hat, but people would get pissed. I don't want Stryker to have a kid, it would be too much like Cassie. A tactical, gun slinger. She's easily proof Stryker having a kid is out.
I seriously don't see anyone else having a descendant other than Nightwolf, Kano (I want him in the game, older, gritty, psychotic), Jax, Cryax, and Sektor. Also, where is the proof that Boon said there will be other descendants? Someone said it was confirmed yesterday in an interview from EVO.

For what we know the private life of most of the MK cast is a mistery ; Jax has a love story with Gemini, his radio support agent. Perhaps outside the whole Outworld and lethal tournaments he has a family. Considering how mature he is I totally see Jax as a family man and a good father. The same goes for Stryker.


About DLCs I really hate guests I never gave a damn about Kratos and Freddy. Personally I'd rather have a roster 100‰ made of Mk characters. And please ppl, don't be fooled by Ed Boon he has no actual proof that Freddy and Scorpion were the top selling DLCs. Perhaps WB is forcing NRS to use Guests as promitional tools for their upcoming movies.

Think about it, MK9 was in stores in 2011, Nightmare remake was in teathers in 2011.

The remake came out on April 30th, 2010. Get your facts straight. But I do agree, I don't believe Scorpion was the top selling DLC in Injustice. Freddy probably was, but I also kinda doubt it. It's obvious WB wanted one of their properties in the game, it just so happened to be Freddy because he's the only one that really works. Look at other WB characters, nothing really works for a guest this go around. I also don't think it'll be a horror movie character, too much of a repeat, Boon said he doesn't want to repeat. If they did add another one, it would be this vicious cycle that people will expect another horror movie guest in MK11. They won't do it twice in a row. I keep saying it though, Ash from Evil Dead would the only character I agree on.

I don't necessarily want a Nightwolf descendant, but I wouldn't mind seeing a female member of his tribe.
Variations could be -
Witch Doctor : Rituals. Something similar to Kotal Kahn in the aspect of summoning those totems. Not sure what they do for him but I'm sure they affect his game play. Damage increase/reduction?
Tribal : Use of weapons. Daggers, spears, maybe a bow. Let Nightwolf keep the axe.
Spirit Shaman : Summoning. Like Scorpion's Inferno but instead of demons, spirit animals.

I'd change the last one with, keeping the "shaman" name, to the trademark thunder attacks as it was shamanic too, she could even get the light effect NW used against Sindel or IIRC when he tagged out of combat.

Since Ed said he's not using Kratos again, Sweet Tooth is the next best thing. His dark murderous nature fits well with MK. Plus from a variations standpoint he could be pretty interesting. PS All-Stars really helped expand his capabilities.

It's not many people that think D'Vorah is out of place in MK. It's just him posting about her over and over. Don't let that fool you :P

Why do you people talk as if companies create characters on the fly?
The list of characters is set since day one.
So for the love god stop saying guest characters replaced your favorite, especially when we are in the point of the series when the story is taking a huge role of who the fuck is staying dead for good.

I really don't give a shit what they do with the guests. If its someone I like, great. If not, whatever. It doesn't affect my enjoyment of the game itself.
