A guest character as a boss would be a catastrope.
And come on, do people really think Hydro is gonna appear. He doesn't (and ain't gonna) exist in the game universe.

Omg, I just realized there will probably be only 24 characters... + 1 spot wasted on a guest character.... So that means only 23 characters, and Boon said that most characters will be new.

So that probably means many characters aren't returning, where did this 30-characters came from anyway?

How can Tremor be a waste of character?? We actually have never had him as a played and fighiting character.. his concept is cool though, why not add him ??

I remember Boon saying that the character select screen shown at E3 wasn't complete, and it will have more slots.

Of course the roster wasn't really true as well, because all the siliouettes on there looked kinda human, no hat from Raiden anywhere, and he's in!

So I hope we see 30 anyway! 13 new ones, 9 returning and 8 from MK4 and up.

Why should we add him when we could add someone who deserves the spot more, or a new character?
Besides, he played horribly back in special forces.

that rostern does not seem realistic at all. most of the characters dont relate to each other and many seem very shitty. thats all

You know that is not a good excuse. People in NRS have made sucky characters become awesome in the past so I can definitely see a great Tremor in MKX. The only thing I hope is that he is not a ninja.

I don't think Kenshi and Ermac are in the roster together, there are too many unique others that don't share powers, so I doubt Kenshi makes it in, probably as DLC again, or maybe Ermac becomes DLC.

I also doubt that Mileena makes it in this time, there are just too little spots and that stupid online-list is just against her.

Theres lots of characters that have potential to be awesome like Hotaru, Kenshi, Li Mei, Kai, Fujin, Shujinko, Taven. What makes Tremor so special.

I'm saying I would prefer these characters over Tremor. Hell, I would even prefer No Face over him.

In a franchise where every fourth character uses fire-based attacks (like you already said,) why can't two characters happily coexist and share telekinesis if they use it in entirely different manners, with completely different sources?
Seriously; what's the harm? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I guarantee you MKX will have more than one character that utilizes fire; mark my words.
I sometimes feel like I'm still stuck in the Deception era with people constantly bitching that both Ermac and Kenshi were in and used telekinesis, and I had to read those goddamn "Ermac clone" comments on every forum I went to.

MK9 demonstrated a marked difference between how they use their powers: Kenshi makes use of his to get better range/mobility with his sword, while Ermac utilizes his almost constantly to throw/slam the opponent across the arena.
On second thought, that's way too similar! I hope MKX's roster is 99% fire users; telekinesis is so gauche!
