What evidence is there that is the real roster?

It could be right, but there is also a high probability that it could be wrong.
Thing is, no one knows until the full roster has been officially announced.

What makes this roster hard to figure out is who they have revealed so far and the number of total characters and how many new. Based on who's reveled we can't say who will be in. For example if they revealed fujin instead of Raiden then we would know shinnok is 100% in, Tanya is in and reiko and Kai might be in. If they reveled havik then we could guess that we could see some MkDA and MkD characters. But they reveled the obvious so far so were clueless.

Real or not, I could get down with this.
Just lose Skarlet and Quan Chi, replace with Nitara and Bo Rai Cho.
Also, add Chameleon.

No, I do not think that is the real roster because there is Ermac concept art and Ermac right next to it. Too many characters and many obscure ones as well. Rain did not make the Mortal Kombat 9 roster on release even though he was part of the original trilogy, so practically zero chance for him in Mortal Kombat X. Too many ninja characters in general as well.

I like there's about six protagonist and about EIGHTEEN antagonist. Like, really? Not liking this roster at all.

Skarlet, Kenshi and Rain.
They were in MK9 just to be in MK9.
They're not serious *story driven* characters if I'm using that term correctly.
As said before, nothing against them.
People wanted Rain in MK since MKvsDCU as DLC.
Kenshi came out of fucking nowhere, I don't even know why the fuck he's in the game at all when they could have saved him for later games.
And Skarlet, just a fan dream that came to life.

Also to add. I ain't paying no mind to roster "predictions" and "leaks" unless Lupinko has a say in it.

I actually liked the prediction, I would just Replace Skarlet with Kano.

I'm confused, the picture is obviously fake so people pointing that out can stop patting themselves on the back. What I'm confused about is the guy who made it, is he suppose to be someone with inside information or something? And if so how often is he correct??

That said however, I think this would be a truly amazing cast. I would love for this to be legit. Would never in 100 years expect Hotaru or Rain to make the cut but hope they do.

Hey, now. Kenshi was supposed to go to the first tournament, as seen in Deception's Konquest, but he didn't show up for some reason. But he's announced during MK9's MK2 era tournament, so he's there instead of the first (apparently.)
Thus, he was battle-ready then, because Shujinko met him and trained with him before the first tournament, and he's already trying to hunt down Shang Tsung. With this new timeline, why not include him if he was already around? It's not like they just shoehorned Frost or Li Mei in when they couldn't realistically be there due to their age.

Also, Rain was in Trilogy (though not doing anything ground-breaking,) so I don't see what the problem is with his presence.

You know who shouldn't have been in MK9...? Quan Chi.
He should've been plotting down in the Netherrealm with Shinnok instead of participating in Outworld-Earthrealm tournaments and making Shang Tsung look like a complete joke.
Quan Chi's presence and meddling is actually detrimental to the story as well as character development of several others: Raiden and Shang Tsung look incompetent, Scorpion is a lap dog, Bi-Han is a complete moron for siding with him (essentially) after all the shit he went through in Mythologies, etc, etc.

Anyways, as for the fan roster, I dunno. I'm just going to wait and see.
