"It was my ghastly perception and awareness that hasn't allowed me to let ourselves succumb to the Seidan warriors, Hotarus -as we have learned his name later- zeal. When the armored clad blinded Sub-Zero with his flashing attack it was my handicap and blind trait that allowed me to sub-due the assailant's move towards the Lin Kuei mercenary. However when I rose my blade to kill the fanatic, a shadowy figure unsensed by my mind jumped us, dragged me to the ground and attacked the seidan guard as he was stunned by recognition towards the newborn assassin. I guided Sub-Zero into the shadows, as I learned of the conflict between the two seidan. I also learned the name of this mysterious attacker.

I am dishonored to have raised my sacred blade without conflict and blood, all thanks to Dairou's timely intervention. Although the initial target Hotaru did not survive their predestined and somewhat "decided by fate" showdown I justly feel hurt despite Dairou allowing our retreat. Should our paths cross again, I shall challenge the seidan swordsman to decide who is favored by their gods and deities.

Sub-Zero quickly recovered, and when we returned to our camp, we found the dead seidan guard laid to rest at peace, and Dairou has shown us respect and left without sound. We gathered everything, and buried the dead body of Hotaru under a rockslide with his trademark flags as his shrine. Sub-Zero insisted that we would better fare if we would split up untill one of us reaches the portal. But after we came across the conflict besieging Outworld, we decided to aid Shujinko with our presence and helped him stop the dread beast Onaga. With reunited we indeed helped the elderly master with our power, and decided to continue our path thro-ugh separate ways untill we reach the portal.

I wished him well, and eventualy ended back on Earth. On Shang Tsungs crumbled island. It was here where I first felt the call of the spirits and I decided to remain here and investigate the Lost Island. Much have I learned from my deceiver and much have been learned to my through my ancestral sword. I have spent weeks perfecting myself untill the Lin Kuei ship has arrived to the shores. Something was afoot."

Opinions over Sub-Zero: much has changed about Sub-Zeros aura after that faithful day when we split up. The Lin Kuei grandmaster still holds me in great esteem and I honor his choice for saving me. Despite our quickly formed comradeship, the returning Sub-Zero's chill...burns.

Opinions over Shang Tsung: has it not been the adamant insisting from Sub-Zero to keep the sorcerer alive, and Ermac's tale about the only option of a less hazardous method to sewere the Dragon Kings superiority invol-ving this demon, I would have beheaded the death cheating trickster then!

Opinions over Mavado: it is amazing of how a single curve in a stright blade can hold even the superiority of a heavy tachi sword. He will die most probably when we meet, but I only deal with the moment when it is time.

Opinion over Special Forces: amazing, new people. I never thought that gaijin's like Sonya and Briggs-kun can be so similar to my people of the Nippon. Determined, disciplined and kind hearted. I would like to know what happened to them afterwards. It is an honor to be in their services. It is an honor to have purpose once again in service.

"From the ashes of the fallen throne of Shao, I proclaim my eternal punish-ment upon those who betrayed me. Weakened by the loss of Edenia, the border wastes of Tarkash, and other provinces what rightfully are apart of the Dragons Empire, I used the power of an ancient artefact of unknown power hidden inside my most safeguarded vaults to clone myself of evenly matching power. It turned out to be the tactic of a most wisest mind, since those who sought my fal strook without remorse, and I was filled with pride to see two of the worlds most powerful sorcerers to put up a fight I couldn't have won. Amazed and feeling contested I enacted a plan after reflection upon my motives and methods.

I am free from the grasp of rulership, and this seems like reliving the glory of conquest long past. I am exhilerated, and to demonstrate my sleeping fury, I decided to lay siege to the city of Lei Chen, while my allies shall now march upon those who betrayed me. i shall sweep the filth from the face of Outworld and build anew. The traitorous Tarkatans are out of favor, and now others, their counterpart nomads who have suffered tarkatan supre-macy for long enough has asked to march alongside with me. I feel free and my traitorous stepdaughter, my treasonous aprentice and my disloyal generals shall all be properly executed for their deeds.

But, as I see it, more serious things are afoot, and my former ruler has returned twice from death. So shall it be, if Onaga proves to subdue death, than so shall I use greater schemes and powers to undo him again, as it is right and fair! And the tournament announced by the Elder Gods has just given me the opportunity to reclaim my prize. With my armies what move according to my victotries in the tournament, I shall seize total controll once again, and with the tournament rules, the unbalancing furies shall provide me with nothing but victory. This time, Shao Kahns triumph is granted by the Elder Gods themselves!

Opinions over Liu Kang: if I see honor, strenght, determination and zeal, I rejoice. When I see lackluster efforts and vain thoughts, I crush those who oppose my will. To look at this point: Liu Kang is the only person who has never let down my expectations and demands. He is worthy of being a me-re Earthly champion.

Opinions over Raiden: This road he has taken seems all too familiar, ha-hahaha! May the thunder enlighten even more to the truths of adversity and pain.

Opinions over Kitana: ah, my beloved daughter whom I adore so much. I shall make Onagas death even more prolongated for stripping her of the burning will that made her oppose even me. Jerrods legacy lives untill I decide to end it. That day will be Kitanas most glorious and dazzling day.

Opinions over Deadly Alliance: the Deadly Alliance was a force to be co-unted with, accomplishing the impossible. I often think how would my for-mer aprentice fall -after they would have accomplished total domination- to the hands of Quan Chi. Tsung was human. Chi was not. "There are moments an sights that can break the hardest of hearts. When my last assignment was confronted with me, I knew this shall be a large stepping stone, perhaps all too loose to walk. I killed the man who was responsible for my incarceration, and I could have taken great pleasure in showing him what is the taste of impriosonment, have I not gotten totally barren from the inside. I knew this assignment wasn't like the rest, and I knew, that it would be unforgivable to not give proper form to it. I've swept aside those whom he was fighting at the moment, I shall let noone harm my prize and fate aside from myself. When the assailants have left, I have then revealed my identity and intentions towards Hotaru.

I struggled and killed the greatest of seidan men at arms. As he layed down fainting from blood loss and gasping for air, I dragged him to die with his face toward the sky, and told him of my employers. Though he died, I was sure he understood my sharp words. After that, I left him in peace and left to seek my second assignment: I stole the Declaration of Order, a physical maifestation of the universe's laws. I wasn't aware of it's nature, but when I was confronted with the destruction it's loss coused by the hands of those of my employers.

The destruction was swift, unseen and deadly. Seido is torn apart by the raging war: revolutionaries sweep across the lands without mercy, while the seidan guard prosecuted those who are suspected of being guilty. Mas suffering, famine and chaos was left behind my trace. But when I left to Outworld again to be confronted by the very old man whom I've seen in pity and released from prison, and when he revealed me of the scale of events unfolding through the realms, the lurking fear of my dreams has awoken.

Not driven by money nor gain this time, but rather from the need to set things straight I am about to return to Seido and seek out the solution to restore the integrity of the warped reality. However, tales of a terrifying ghast what slaughters without remorse and clarity have reached my ears. From the descriptions I am compelled to stay and hunt this shade down as it may be something I rather not even dream about.

Opinion over Darrius: reasons fairly well, but his visions mean nothing to me. I want to see an integrity in Seido if something changes so that I can make a living and might find a realitve peace from prosecution. His money is enough of him.

Opinion over Hotaru: Hotaru is of no consequence to any of us. May the populace be happy or saddened by his death, I care not. I don't care about any of them, or him. I shall remember him as my greatest challenge of them all. I shall remember him.

Opinion over Dragon King: such thing is of legend, but not unreal. Should this ruler prove to be an ally of Seido, I would have to rethink my allegian-ce. I hate to say it, but I might consult for asylum if need be. But there is something: amiss.

Opinion over Shujinko: one can never be too careful when dealing wih the likes of Seido's Enforcers. Even my lifetime wasn't as long compared to his aging in the cells. I symphatise with his defiant nature if not with his intelligence. Though the last encounter with him was odd at best. There is something special about him that leaves me puzzled.

"I've fulfilled everything what I pictured before me in one sudden stroke when I ended the life of my former comrade, the tarkatan Baraka. Now, when the worlds are in turmoil, and Edenia is a pirdefull but weakened empire of opportunity I shall make my second move after I recover from
my serious injuries collected and sufferd at the hands of Baraka. When I learned the fact that indeed Edenias power was enough to surpass the tarkatans and the undead army, I embarked to destroy the only one who knew of my deception.

Baraka was adept at warfare and minor politics. He sent another one disguised as himself, whom I "bit the throat off". When I was suprised by the fact that he wasn't the real tarkatan leader, I was assaulted by him personally and suffered grave injuries and scars. However, not all was lost. The ambush took place near the abandoned bettle lair, to where I did lure my former mate and sent him into a riskant berserk. Having sheer luck and a poisoned pair of daggers I subdued his rage, and I threw the dazzled tarkatan into the pool of flesh consuming beetles. Baraka was no more.

Since Barakas defeat at the hands of my forces led by Bo' Rai Cho, and the demie of most of the tarkatans from a newly emerging army of other kind of nomadic people opressed centuries ago by theese vile beasts I decided to retreat to Edenia. Now as the recupperating Queen of the trus-ting Edenians, I now deal with possible threats from the past. As a first step, I announced the public execution of Bo' Rai Cho under suspicion of treason and participation in Sindels death, though it is yet to be seen who ordered the death of the Edenian matriarch, for she hasn't died of natural couses: my instincts tell me of that.

Emissaries of various realms and powers seek my council. May they be the forces of Outworld, or earth, all of those who aided itana now aid me, and will die inside the asp pit that is my hospitality. Now, I am currently preoccupied with the ancient vaults of Edenia, for the doors have opened before me as I am queen.

Opinions over Liu Kang: each bird of prey seeks out a male of his liking. Mine was ruthless, savage, and forcefully compassionate. Kitana had a calm, collected and well meaning compaignon. Both of our mates are now dead.

Opinions over Kitana: pretty faced ragdoll shall have a world of hurt when I decide to haunt her days and nights. If she lives again, I make sure she will live through whatever pain I can think of.

Opinions over Subotai: tall men from the wastelands beyond the waste-lands. At least they are not so fast to succumb to mindless rage and to petty bloodbaths. I can think that despite their hostility they would be an excellent tool. Mainly Subotai himself.

Opinions over Bo' Rai Cho: admirable. Fomerly a homicidal maniac of mercenaries eons past, now retired and personalised buddha of unlikely manners. Now I know why kitana refused to fulfill his complete and very harsh training. Bo' Rai Cho is best to have a closure to his life.

"I have been gravely taxed over the passing moonpasses, especially by the sudden death we experienced by the hands of the Deadly Alliance. i gravely underestimated the power of the two sorcerers, and despite our best efforts breaking through the tarkatans, we were slain one by one as adwancing through the chambers of he horrid fortress.

I do not preoccupy myself much with the thought of the actions I made as a mindless doll under Onagas authority, but my guilt can't seem to wash off from me. I returned to Edenia through long journey and entered the only place I felt safe: the capital. Despite the rejuvenating lands and plains of my homeworld, the capital stands alone in it's draconic size, it has now became rotten to the core. As if I were in the streets of Lei Chen, guilds have broken loose, and Edenia has succumbed to the level of Outworld.

Without lack of proper rulership! My wandering has came to a tragic end when I have layed my eyes upon my mothers funeral pyre, and a heir to the throne has claimed responsibility and utter and complete domination over the Kingdom of Edenia. I dare not suspect who is the only one capable of doing so. In anger, I sought out the safety of the shadowworld of Edenia.

In the chaos that ravages my throne, I found others who are victims of the persecution and mercyless enforcement: Bo' Rai Cho, who seemingly commandeered the Edenians and many others into battle against Onaga and his Undefeatable Army fueled with tarkatans. I shall not reveal my true identity to him yet, for that can only ensure our demise in the end. We travel through the dungeon sewers of the Capitals massive Bastions under the Earth, where barren and unfriendly hosts rule beyonf our grasp.

I shall seek out the Tombs of our forefathers and foremothers fo future counsel. I swear on my mothers unlife, that i shall return and purge this filth from before my rightfull throne! Be it with or without aid, I shall not fail!

Opinions over Liu Kang:
...what would I not give to have Liu at my side at theese hard times, but I shall see this through alone. There is only one hereditary ruler of Edenia and thats not my half-sister. But still, despite my superiority over them, I crave the simplicity and the short life of humans.

Opinions over Mileena:
...if everyone has a mirror image thats the counterpart of her, I ask this: what would Mileena see in that mirror? Certainly, an abomination like this is not deserving anymore of my mercy for what she did to my homeland and to my life!

Opinions over Shao Kahn:
...serving as Shao Kahns daughter, assassin and concubine has learned me valuable lessons. Do not dwell on events long passed, and never do the same mistake again. As I did, I never made the same mistake of being dependant on someone else, neither on my allies, and neither upon my, friends.

Opinions over Bo' Rai Cho:
...I understand that Bo' Rai Cho's knowledge is admirable and thus to be honored, but: I can't respect someones lack of personality and complete dependence on brewerages that dull someones mind. Not to mention his
"speciality" what he tried to attach to my well versed methods of battling opponents. I consider his tutelage and art twice being orthodox to those of fight!

Excellent work. I like how you picture Edenia and its internal power struggles, and the drawings of Kitana and Mileena totally rock. There are some English mistakes now and then but that's ok, since English is your second language (as it is mine, I'm sure I make mistakes too).

"After we have aided the elder vanderer Shujinko in defeating the newborn threat of the Dragon King, Kenshi and I decided that the best way to ensu-re that one of us reaches the portal leading back to Earth would be to have us split up again, thus lessening the chance of us being spotted. We then went our separate ways. In truth I intended to return and explore my ancest-ral tomb once again and gather as much knowledge as I can.

While heading towards the portal with the needed necessities I have been ambushed by the still active army of the Dragon King. Countless of theese tarkatan vermin have assaulted me, and if it were not for the immediate intervention from my armour, I would have perished. When the dying tarka-tan uttered the words "Long live the Dragon King" I felt an unconforting chill run down my spine. From the intuitive knowledge my research did provide, the tarkatans may sense intermediate forces acting through their superna-tural instincts. This makes tarkatans excelling hunters being able to tune to their prey in bloody frenzy.

While entering the portal leading to Earthrealm, I ended being stranded back on friendly soil. My mission however, has failed. My protege is dead, and the Deadly Alliances success lessened my prestige inside the lin Kuei. Many of my veteran clanmates point out to the fact, that the Lin Kuei must go back to it's roots in it's execution, even if our goals are now consi-dered noble. Disillusioned by the losses, I couldn't do but agree.

Isolated in remote places around the world, and in near Arctic Siberia, the Lin Kuei awaits in silence, however tensions rise becouse of the sudden events. Our diviners predicted the catastrophe following the fall of the Deadly Alliance, and now, Outworld is once again in turmoil. Shujinko has fallen prey to the thunder god, of whom I can only disbelieve. I must take action alone if I am to win my prestige back inside my clan as the Lin Kuei Grandmaster. I head back to the Lost Sea again, leaving only one order behind: protect the demon Sareena from any kind of harm and herself! This is possibly my last command, for the sudden events force me into a necessary evil and unlikely route what perhaps pains me.

Opinions over Shang Tsung:
...the Lin Kuei never leaves a job undone, however the shapeshifter is instrumental in our efforts to stop the newborn Dragon Kings attempt of apotheosis. Should he succeed, as a godlike entity, Onaga would reside in the heavens and wreck havoc upon our reality. Shang Tsung is the mo-re acceptable evil of the two.

Opinions over Blind Kenshi:
...the Lin Kuei doesn't own their lives but to their clan. I however hold Kenshi in great esteem for saving myself from certain doom and being ever-vigilant. Kenshi could be a worthy addition to the forces of shaolin White Lotus or the Special Forces, whom he apparently joined. But a lo-ner should walk his own path. I can see it inside him.

Opinions over Shujinko:
...I don't blame Shujinko for his actions. I don't have time to blame anyone but myself if there should be any remorse inside me. As mercyfull I want to be, I am still a mercenary assassin. But my absorption is nothing compa-red to Shujinko's self-accusation, and boiling hate towards the gods, and of course Onaga. He neesd our help, even if it means crossing the path of those I call comrades, and ultimately, going against the wishes of the thun-der god.

Opinions over Scorpion:
...that, thing is the closest thing I may call friend or foe. I never want to see more of his cursed visage tainted with blood, however should he test his mettle against the Lin Kuei once again, he shall find it most displeasing to experience banishment again at the hands of Sub-Zero.

My only complaint is the picture that you submitted for the Sub-Zero bio. I was a bigger fan of the Chinese Warrior armor that you did before. I thought it gave him much more character. But, that's just my opinion. I would, however like to see a picture of Kenshi in the future. But as an overall concept, this whole thread is very well put together. The bios are always interesting to read, offering a lot of detail and input on each of the character's story, as well as their mind set. And the pictures add a nice visual flare. Awesome stuff my friend, I can't wait to see more.

"Perhaps experience came with my elongated lifespan, but neither did my wisdom and intelligence bless me with their presence. I should really feel responsible and humble for my mistakes that allowed this born menace of deception to return to power twice in my sight! I am now disillusioned by the reluctance to help and to intervene from the world of the divine. Even an enraged thunder god has crossed my path for the worse, far more sewere.

After defeating Onaga, sending him into the land of the dead, I could only reside so long inside Onagas temple before the utter destruction ruined it's massive halls. I have been successfull in escaping the havoc, only to be greeted by the wartorn thunder god Raiden. He led me to a peak in the mountain ranges within Outworld and thanked me for my efforts of killing the deceitfull creature, but ultimately, blaming me for the wretched state and turmoil our worlds had to endure. Raiden, the god of thunder has then assassinated me on the spot with a quirk of his movement.

Has it not been for the appearance and sudden assault of the hell-born spectre Scorpion, Raiden would have finished my execution within beat of a heart. However he did not, and Scorpion, despite as impossible it may seem has dragged me to safety and threw ourselves through a rift inside the fabric of the universe. The Elder Gods Tribunal has caled upon me:

The elders were impressed by my own potential, let alone those of whom I have learned. They spared me my life only for one reason: they revealed a threachery far more greater than any mortal being could then stomach ali-ve, their own corrupt and apathethical nature! Several factions lead theese younger gods into conflicts and battles, while those of ancient times are now completely uninterested in their own creations fate, their only goal is to ensure the constant existence!

Theese are not the ideals I have sworn to protect and follow. I have then reannounced the offering of truly becoming their champion, a goal I have spent my youth and blood for. The Tribunal is in dissarray, those of the gods have chosen to host a tournament to controll and in the same time, allow mortals to compete again inside the sacred rules of the tourney. The outcome of each battle allows the separate factions to move their agenda or forces towards their goals. Apparently, the still living abomination called Onaga is the host for this newborn tournament, now as the supreme ruler of Outworld. I shall ove my agenda without the supervision of theese Elder Gods towards fruitition: namely to ensure that the once again separated Kamidogu -what I've shattered but could not destroy- would serve as the means to undo our existence!

Opinions over Raiden: Raiden was right about me not being the chosen champion of the Elder Gods. neither would I want to be now, aside the fact that the Elders acquired a weapon of utter biterness and destruction to ser-ve their couse. Nothing is uncorruptable, not even those of the dead and those of divine. But Raidens corruption is his own doing.

Opinions over Ermac: has it not been the reappearance of Ermac, I would-n't have acquired information crucial to stop Onaga! Apparently, Onagas suddenr eappearance, though not defined, was preplanned! The beast had me collect the Kamidogu for himself! Though his ultimate goal was to awaken all of his Generals o lead it's colossal army to ultimate conquest!
We need to know more about him, and Ermac is willing to help.
